I have to admit, when I walked into this spot, I wasn’t expecting much. Looking like a local version of Denny’s, if you can get past first impressions, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. This spot had a variety of classic diner meals, but with a little more thought, originality and love than the typical diner. With meals that are both hearty and fairly priced, I would feel comfortable recommending this restaurant.
Sanducci's Cottage has a very large selection of specialty hamburgers that are a little expensive but taste good and are well cooked. They have breakfast as well that is also very good. Portions are pretty large. Location isn't very good (next to a trailer park) and has a small parking lot with not much room to maneuver. Restaurant is pretty small with not much room to maneuver. Staff is very friendly.
You have to go to this restaurant. They have the best breakfast and lunches. Their hamburgers are to die for. Big juicy homemade Patty's with all the toppings. It's nice to sit outdoors and eat on their tables with umbrellas. Real home cooking that you can't find very often. If you are in Lakeport and hungry for some good food head to Sanducci's and you won't be disappointed.
