First and foremost if I go to an afghan restaurant they better make better Afghan food than what I am to used from my family. Be prepared to seat yourself and be lucky to find a waiter to order your food. Once your food is served the waiter will mysteriously vanish and never to be seen again. If you have been raised in the states, have had good Afghan food(or bare minimum ) this place (food quality, service and cleanliness) is definitely not for you! Waiters didn't know the menu, brought us the wrong food and drinks. Bechara is new so I get it. Management needs to train everyone properly. But he himself is missing in action. The chicken was precooked many moons ago and it's was bone dry, reheated and served to us. it was randomly seasoned with mystery seasoning from whatever they found around the kitchen. The kabli is soaked in oil and any if you order any dish with rice, the rice is kabli rice. The koobideh was the worst I have had in my life again seasoned with the same mystery seasoning. If you are the owner, Get some proper training to your employees lutfan. We love our afghans and want you to thrive but please don't cut corners

The real taste of Kabuli Shiryakh شیریخ کابلی is at this restaurant. I always stop by here to have the best Kabili Pilaw and Shir-yakh on my way to Sea World San Diego. Highly recommended. Great service, friendly staff and a feeling of being in at home.
