Very nice staff, they welcome you as you walk in, food was really good with a good presentation.

Love their crunchy cheese tacos and pretty much anything on the menu. Great for a keto diet. Horchata thai tea and the brussel sprouts are also at the top of my list there.

I'll give it a 3.45. The Brussels sprouts were good. The loaded tots were really good. The asada burrito was alright. But the Horachata Thai Tea was amazing. Really didn't dig the flavor of the burrito but everything else was pretty good. I'm willing to come back and try more things.

Week two of their soft opening and I forgot to order some of that delicious horchata thai tea. Tried chinitos combo, got to try shrimp and garlic noodles. The flavor and care is still present. Unsure if I'm reminiscing on the good ole days or it's the state of economy but kind of pricey for the portion size.
Will be back when menu gets hammered out.

I am so sad to hear that they won't be open much longer. My favorites here were the street tacos and the Thai Horchata. I urge that you come in one last time to taste this gem before its gone.

Tacos were good but I got diarrhea real bad.
I will never order from this place again. I ordered a quesadilla, and what I received in my to-go order was not the same as what was listed on their website. I called to clarify the discrepancy—not to complain or ask for compensation—just to ensure that if I ordered again, I’d know what to expect and could request specific modifications.
When I spoke to the employee, he explained that the sour cream is mixed with lime juice and apologized for forgetting to include the scallions and garnishes. However, instead of allowing me to finish explaining my concerns, he interrupted me, stating, “I’m not going to comp your order, but I can take your name and number down and offer you an appetizer.” This was frustrating because I wasn’t calling to ask for anything free. I only wanted clarification about the menu.
Throughout the call, he continued to cut me off, making it impossible to fully explain my concerns. His excuse for this behavior was that he had a line of customers and wanted to “get this over with.” At one point, he even questioned why I was calling if I didn’t want my order comped, which was incredibly disrespectful. I tried to explain again, but he kept interrupting, dismissing my concerns entirely.
The entire experience was upsetting, especially because I am five months pregnant, and the stress caused my blood pressure to rise. When I told him this and suggested my husband come in to discuss the matter, he hung up on me.
I wasn’t calling to get anything for free; I simply wanted clarity on the menu so I could order properly in the future. This level of rudeness and dismissiveness is unacceptable. I will never order from this place again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. It’s clear they don’t value their customers or know how to handle simple inquiries. Never again.
Delicious food and amazing service!

I just bought tacos and they were very bad, the meat had no flavor and the tortillas were half heated. You bite into the taco and the tortilla breaks and the taco comes apart.

How have I not rated chinitos yet?! I was feeling daring with my cali burrito order today and went for double carne asada. This made my burrito big enough to feed 2 people (im so doing this again if i have a friend with me so we can also split a bomb side like the brussels.) I got a burnt cheese wrap on it too for extra decadence. And I always need to order the horchata chai tea.
I also need to mention my previous order of shrimp tacos. They were damn delicious and filling with the side of black beans.
Chinitos' food always makes me feel like if I had a video game hp bar I can see it fill as I eat.

It’s been a few weeks since I have been here but I had forgotten to leave a review each time. The food here is really, really good. I’ve been to many local taco spots and haven’t found a place that puts a spin on a taco so well that doesn’t take away from the authenticity of a taco. Every protein option is flavored so well but my pick is definitely the carnitas amd the shrimp. Amazing food, Great customer service, all around great dining experience.

All hail the Cambodian & Mexican fusion! ?? ??
We found out about this place through Facebook group on the Long Beach food scene. Some guy was been out of shape because he said that people had totally underrated this place and it wasn’t getting the love it deserved. I really thought it was a ploy just to get more people to read his article in the Long Beach newspaper.
It turns out this dude was totally right! I don’t know how this place was empty when we walked in, but the food here is totally worth a drive from wherever you’re coming from.
We ordered off of the Tuesday happy hour menu and everything we got was good!
- order of half/half Brussels & cauliflower
- half order of cotija tots
- happy hour tacos: barbacoa, carne asada, carnitas (these are street taco size)
- regular sized shrimp taco (not on the happy hour menu)
- sample size of the Horchata thai tea. ?
All the meats were perfectly marinated with Asian style marinades. I’ll tell you about all of them, but it would take too long to describe the flavors.
The brussels sprouts were also marinated in an Asian-style sauce topped with cotija cheese and pickled red onion ?
Cauliflower was marinated as well and breaded with rice flour, and fried . Then topped with a lime buffalo style sauce. so good!
It’s not a place for a fancy date per se but definitely go here if you want to impress someone with your foodie knowledge. If this place was somewhere like West LA, it would already be all over the gram.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of options to bring your veggie friends!
Dietary restrictions: Good for vegetarians, and I’d even say vegans and gluten free folks!
Just ask about how they fry their stuff.
But they have veggie options, corn tortillas, rice flour for the battered and friend dishes.
