I now live in Long Beach, California but this used to be my home Denny's when I lived in Lakewood... didn't know what remodel but glad that it's still standing, and I'm happy about the new look...

I must say out of all the Denny's around this one is by far my favorite... The late night waitress Carol is not only on point with her excellent service but she is also very hospitable and makes you feel very welcomed.. Thank you Carol for making our trip to Denny's a great one we will definitely be back to see you again soon!

The food is solid and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. However, the experience takes a hit when the female manager is on duty. She often takes over as cashier and greets customers with a noticeably unfriendly attitude. During busy times, she tends to be rude to both customers and staff. On my last visit, she handed me my receipt but didn’t return my change because she was too focused on loudly reprimanding an employee about seating arrangements
