I go to EPL's all over the place. Food is great about 95% of the time. This store is kind of shabby. I know many of my neighbors are poor, not big spenders.... so perhaps the owner doesn't want to invest more.

The first time I had el Pollo Loco was at this location and I honestly never stopped going I order the same food usually in the afternoon they hook it up and the service is great ! Fulfilling meals especially if you're on a budget!

I don't even do reviews either but here you go..... this is hands down the worst El Pollo Loco location around the Lakewood area...The food is ALWAYS hit or miss...The workers ALWAYS HAVE a terrible attitude!!Remember workers at this specific location...... I'm choosing not to name you but don't forget you physically "applied" for your job. It wasn't handed to you but it needs to be taken away!Y'all chose to provide service... I bet y'all expect good service when y'all go out and feed your fat faces and family! Don't forget that or karma!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS LOCATION!YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

I first want to say,the lady working the drive thru window was very nice. I ordered a large chicken tortilla soup a few days ago. I checked the bag and didn't see the tortilla chips,so I asked for some. It wasn't until I got home and noticed, I did have some! What a darn joke El Pollo Loco!! It's not just at this location,it's company wide. You might as well just rename it to chicken soup,because it's definitely not worth having the name of tortilla chicken soup.

I been to hundreds of pollo locos in my life and I have to say this is by far the best one the food was delicious the wait was understandable this location gets really busy from what I see but the service was beyond what I expected this is my go to location now.

Zero stars because I've been here 2 times and they somehow always forget about my order I usually give them 30 mins before I complain I feel like 30 mins is more than enough time for 2 sides and a drink (especially for a fast food place)and get this when I ask about my order they say oh sorry we forgot about your order like what this will be my last time coming here

The cashier sold $100 out of my bank account when I just went to get a churro
Drove thru tonite at 8:00pm to 8:20pm. I ordered a two piece meal with Mac n chz and broccoli as sides. There was no broccoli in the meal box. I also ordered a 4 PC meal with flour tortillas. I got corn tortillas.
