Completely enjoyed myself here. The vibe was right from the entry. Friendly faces, warm smiles, Judgement Free Zone here! Bartenders weren't overly friendly but the drink prices were lower than the norm here. Grab a Long Island Iced Tea to make sure you get where you need to be... but well with a visit, especially in a karaoke Friday night! A must visit.... so just driving by this spot & get in there.

Located close to Long Beach airport , the Flight Room was a local hangout frequented by employees of the now defunct McDonell Douglas Aircraft Corp. Today this cozy bar hosts crowds of various ages. Has a pool table, 2 soft tip dart boards, 2 basketball skill games, a free book library, and still has aircraft memorabilia from the douglas years. Friday & Saturday night host karoke DJs. If you like to sing Saturday has less wait time as Fridays DJ gives priority to personal friends. Friday does however give street performers an opportunity to play along to a song of their choice , so you get somewhat of a live music vibe. All in all the flight room is a gem of a local bar.

Went here for karaoke night, and my group had a lot of fun. The bar is small the the people and staff were all so friendly. Drinks were good, and they have 2 dart boards and basketball hoops and a pool table, so there are plenty of things to get into. I can't remember the guys name, but I think he was one of the owners or related to the owner. He was dope he made sure my group was comfortable and got us whatever we needed.

The atmosphere is welcoming to everyone. A chilled-back spot that is totally visitor vibe friendly, and it's a place you will definitely enjoy & return. Convenient location, at Carson & Lakewood Blvd., it's just a short walk or a quick Uber over, if from in/ out of town traveling, visit The Flite Room, to relax, just mention if you have a favorite sport...watch any number of sports and/or listen to good music...karaoke also, several nights during the week...Thursdays for sure.
Only a quick distance from LBX Airport Plaza and the several major hotels in the Airport Plaza.
