I am so mad at myself that I am barely discovering this hidden gem after three years of living in Lakewood. Wow. The portions for their bento are so good for their price point. All the rolls are great price points for the quality they provide. They have amazing service and staff are so attentive. I am now a regular!!!!! Soo goood!!!!!!

It is well run. They have their little specialties at competitive value. The fish sashimi size was reasonable. I went during winter season so I was able to get yellow tail which is fattier during this time of year. The roll flavors were also good. Spicy tuna was good.

Came here on Thursday and this places sushi is really good. It's fairly priced and less than most other places in the area as well. Me and my friends had a couple of rolls. Baked Salmon, dynamite, lobster roll, and golden tiger. All four were great. We also had some of the appetizers and they were also really good too. The spicy pork and pork tonkatsu are good. The fountain drinks come with free refills as well unless you get the Japanese drinks like the melon soda which is a can. The seating is comfortable and spacious as well and the service provided was great. We were checked up on frequently and got our refills fairly fast without much wait. I will certainly return to try out some of the other rolls and will be recommending this place to friends as well. Anyone looking for some good sushi I recommend try this place out.

I can’t not say this is the best sushi spot in Lakewood. The pieces are always a good size, they are timely, and the servers are really nice. The prices are sensible, despite the happy hour menu not having the deals that it used to have prior to this weird “recession/inflation”, you can still come here and get good value for quality sushi. And they always have a game on, they have a projector and plenty of TV’s so you won’t miss anything!

This place is the definition of a locals spot so don't expect the fluff of a national chain, it's clean, the servers are chill, and the food is top notch.

This sushi restaurant holds a special place in my heart and my siblings', becoming our all-time favorite spot for a reason. We find ourselves here multiple times a month, cherishing every moment as if it were our last. The entire staff is a delight to interact with--super nice and attentive, ensuring our dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. The relaxed atmosphere inside, complemented by the presence of numerous TVs, adds to the overall enjoyment. Now, here's where my expertise as a devoted Ginzaya customer comes in. I've explored almost every sushi roll they offer, and I'm thrilled to share my top recommendations. You simply cannot miss the C & P, Golden Tiger, and Baked Salmon rolls--each a delectable masterpiece. Not only are the flavors on point, but the rolls are also generously sized, leaving you more than satisfied with each bite. And let's not forget about their ramen; each bowl is a delightful journey through rich and delicious flavors, making them all worth trying. The generosity in their portions, combined with the skillfully crafted dishes, has made Ginzaya a go-to sushi haven for us.

Was in the area yesterday. Checked Yelp and this place looked pretty good. I'm sorry. It was absolute trash and inedible. The chicken katsu I was served looks like pork ribs. Tempura burned. No one ever came back after dropping off the food to check and there were only 2 other tables seated. Waste of money. Didn't eat it because it was hard and tasted all burned up. Never again. The lobster roll was ok.

My local go to for sushi. The prices are fair and the fish quality isn't bad at all. The staff is very friendly. Andrew(the owner) and his team are the best

Had a reservation but stood around for 10 minutes before anyone greated us, even though it wasn’t very busy. Slow service, definitely mediocre sushi. Prices are affordable, so I guess that’s good? This place came highly recommended from someone, but I won’t be back.

Right off of Woodruff, this small shop offers warm and friendly service as well as expert crafted sashimi/sushi. There's plenty to say about Ginzaya but my favorite things are their specialty rolls such as "Mango Madness" or the happy hour they offer here. Stop by for live sports or their Strawberry Sake, you will not be disappointed.edit: no sake. When they bring it back ill adjust my rating.
