January 2023The location offers freshly made rice cakes and kimbap (Korean sushi rolls) daily. Check Business hours before going, I made the mistake of going on a nonbusiness day. They only accept cash and all items are $7+. Since the shop is really small the business has limited capacity. There are usually two workers, one at the register and one at the counter. The items are organized and labeled but you do have to ask about the prices for each item. Since it's a popular shop, especially near the holidays they tend to run out of items quickly.

I like this place. When ever I have to order dduk and this is the right place. They know what I need. Also the place is very organized, taste and price are just ok. And compare the other dduk places this place is so convenient to order and ready to right time.

An old school establishment with really tasty dduk (rice cakes). I'm pretty surprised by all the bad reviews. My mom always orders from this place for any family traditional gatherings - about 3x a year. Granted, their customer service isn't the best. Let's be honest, they're older - probably first generation business owners and the whole customer service thing isn't their jam, not for old school people. But food wise, I've only had really good tasty things from here. I

OUR ORDER WAS NOT READY IN TIME FOR OUR EVENT. NOT EVEN CLOSE. ON TOP OF THAT, THEY MESSED UP OUR ORDER. We ordered ahead of time and they forced us to add more to our order to meet their minimum. We said OK.We confirmed the day before to make sure our order would be ready. They said yes of course. But when the time came for pick up, they were NOT ready, and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes while they worked on the order they forgot about. They were so disorganized, they weren't even sure what we ordered, forgot they had forced us to order additional dduk to meet their minimum, and tried to charge us EXTRA for the dduk they forced us to order.Never ordering from them again.

Our family really like their dduk. I have ordered my dduk daughters' engagement and the wedding.
Don't eat here or order anything from here. Look how they cool the bake goods outside. PLEASE I DON'T RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

Always bought ddeuk from here at Korean markets and preordered a few times for a pick up. Since I like the taste of JR ddeuk I stopped by the store to pick up some. WORST customer service EVER. WHY? Is it really that hard? I’m determined not to buy anything anymore from here.

I always purchased their rice cake at the markets and liked them so I went in to get a quote for catering and the owner was SO RUDE. I needed some help in how much I should order and getting details of what types are included but it's as if she didn't want me to order. She would cut me off when I would ask a question and felt like she didn't want to interact at all. I'm never giving them business here.
