They say you shouldn't go grocery shopping hungry ... Unless it's K Food Story at H Mart! It's a convenience stop at a cafeteria style eatery for good food. Wide selection. Portions large. Clean up after yourself. Self serve water. I got the Spicy Tofu Udon. It included soft tofu, pieces of beef, half a soft boiled egg, clams and one large shrimp. Came with sides of pickled radish and kimchi. The meal was enough to feed two people and they provide to-go containers. Would recommend if you're looking for a quick Korean craving fix without spending the time to dine-in.

Food is so good, authentic Korean. Service is super fast and very affordable. They have tables set up so you can enjoy your food there or take it to go after you are done shopping.

The beef ramen and the bibimbap is so good. I crave it every single day. Wait was short, and the customer service was great. Would highly recommend.

This place definitely provides a good meal at a great value. Stumbled upon this place while looking for a Korean spot en route to family, and it came up on the way. Tucked away inside a hmart, I was super surprised to find that dine in bibimbop and japchae is only $6. With tons of veggies, a side of kimchi and a side of pickled radish, and a bowl of hot miso soup. (Take out is ~$12) Definitely one of the better bibimbop I've had, and hands down the best $6 bibimbop ever. Will be back for more of this tasty goodness next time I'm en route to visit family again!

This was very yummy. And only $6! The woman taking my order was very nice. I also appreciate the fact they take Apple Pay

If you are looking for an authentic Korean meal, this is one of the spots you can go to.You can find it at the corner beside Tous Les Jours inside H Mart along Del Amo.They have a wide variety of meals to choose from - bibimbap, tofu soup, pork cutlet, tteokbokki, and ramyun. You can get fresh Korean sides on the chiller beside it (just pay at the counter first).

H Mart's resident eatery, K Food Story has food options for shoppers looking for a bite. Needing a food fix, I checked out K Food Story's options on what to get.yelp.com/user_local_phot…$6 Bibimbap & japchae dine-in promo-yelp.com/user_local_phot… For $6, a bowl of bibimbap or plate of japchae sounded like a great deal. Japchae is just as good taken home, so I went with bibimbap.Bibimbap-yelp.com/user_local_phot… A hefty meal for not a lot of dough, K Food Story's bibimbap came with soup, napa cabbage kimchi & cucumber kimchi. The food was hot & fresh, and filling to the tummy. The star of the show being the fried runny egg on top. yelp.com/user_local_phot…yelp.com/user_local_phot… Service was good. The wait wasn't long for my order to be ready. Plenty of tables to choose from. H Mart has complimentary iced water & hot barley tea. Upon finishing, diners just place their food trays in the racks. K Food Story is a solid Korean food option inside H Mart. Staples such as soondubu (tofu soup) & bulgogi (marinated Korean ribs) are also on the menu, but it's hard to pass up bibimbap for only $6. Much better & healthier than buying a burger combo meal, I can see myself being a frequent visitor when the mood strikes.

Came here on 12/21/22 Wed at 6:30 pm. I am Korean so I am used my fair share of mean Korean ladies at restaurants. But this lady at the cashier was worst I have seen. She was not happy to be there at 6:30 (close to closing) and that customers were ordering. This place is located inside of H Mart, and this location is mostly know for non-KoreN customers. This lady is definitely ruining the Korean reputation.I saw this lady turning away customers in the meanest and rudest way possible. If I was the owner, I would definitely not keep her around.

I go to hmart just to buy grocery and curious bout this place, i see lots of people and the have good deals like 6$ bibimbap. I tried one time then the next time i took my boyfriend with me lol he didn't expect the food there was better than what he expected

I was not expecting to like this place, but I like this place after eating there. It's weird to be eating a complete meal in a supermarket, but the seating is set off to the side, so you are not entirely distracted by busy shoppers. I ordered the soft bean curd soup with ribs, and my friend ordered the Bibimbap. The food is what you would expect in a normal brick-and-mortar restaurant. The time from order to delivery of the food was quick. The seating area is just a half dozen tables with adequate seating, it is first come, first serve. They also provide cold water and hot tea complimentary, but it is self-serve. I definitely would like to come again to try some of their other menu options

Came specifically to get some cold buckwheat noodles to go. And the lady just told me no. Just no. Then said they don't make today, I didn't even bother to ask what they do have if they don't cross anything off the menu or a note. And also they charge you $5 to dine in. I'm guessing because they don't get tips so that's a source of forced tip for people who dine in.... never have I seen a place charge you just to use the table even though you're buying food from them..... either way I didn't buy anything since the lady just told me no....

The food is as good as anything in the area and right now, they have a $5 special for either chap chae (noodles) or bi bim bap from 11-7 - phenomenal! Must dine in to get the special though.

I've been eying this place every time I shop at h-mart and the food on the menu looks good. I wanted to try it out today and I was next in line to order and the cashier completely ignored me and she started doing other things as I stood in front of her for a good couple minutes. I was annoyed and I literally walked away. Saying "I'll be right with you in a minute" goes a long way but I wasn't even acknowledged so I will take my money elsewhere.
