I wanted to try out this cafe since I was in the area. It's located in front of a busy intersection in a small plaza with free parking so it can be easy to miss if you're not actively searching for it. However, once you go inside, the interior is so cute, clean, and minimal!
I ordered the einspanner (whole milk) and a croffle. The drink was really good, not too sweet, and pretty strong! I wish I had more people with me to try other drinks since their menu looked great. The croffle was warmed up for me and came out the same time as they called for my drink which I thought was a nice touch. It was sweet and slightly sticky where small bits would be stuck to my teeth but overall delicious.

Didn’t try the food, rated our coffee under the “food”. Ordered a flat white, milk was burnt and foam texture was not so good. Had too much foam, as if it were a cappuccino. Coffee was also burning hot :( Latte art was okay, but I don’t care much about that. My boyfriend got a banana matcha and the banana flavor taste like those candy’s you get out of a mall candy dispenser for a quarter. Super artificial. He also got a cortado, he liked the espresso (they use common room roasters and we <3 them) but said the milk was poorly steamed and the ratio was a little off. The girls at the front were very nice and drinks were served in a timely manner! Pastries looked yummy but we didn’t try any. Also noticed they didn’t have prices for the food, but the coffee/drink prices were reasonable!

I would really recommend this place. I’m really glad I live close to here because I like to stop here before work. The matcha is some of the best I’ve had in Orange County and I would especially recommend their London Matcha cloud drink because it’s an earl grey tea with a creamy matcha foam and it’s so addicting!! the owner and employees are really kind as well. Stop by Mono for some great drinks!

Literally the nicest workers you'll find! They are so sweet, helpful, and the vibe inside is so calm, music isn't loud 10/10 coming back!! Got a haznult iced latte and it's so delicious, the maple hot coffe isn't too sweet and it's perfect. The price was really good too for the quality!

This place is adorable. It was busy but the baristas got the drinks out quickly. I ordered the biscoff latte and it was delicious. I loved the cookies served with it. My partner got an amazing hot mocha. We both enjoyed the croffle, which has amazing flavor but the texture was a little off like it had been microwaved. Still recommend it and highly recommend for the coffee.
I love this place!!!! Drinks are really good, not too sweet, I love the mocha latte! The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is they only have 1 size drinks so I buy 2 sometimes just to be able to get through my day 🤭

I drive by this place from time to time, when I’m in Lakewood, and decided to stop by this time around. It’s a nice little coffee shop with a minimalistic design that suits it just right. It has plenty of seating, great for studying or just to hang out. The staff is friendly and quick to serve, your order will be out in no time at all.
I ordered the Biscoff latte, it has Biscoff bits inside along with syrup and espresso. Not over powering with sweetness and provides a nice kick to start off your day. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and it was very good, I’d get it again.

Mono Coffee is simply a hidden gem! I’ve visited multiple times, and it never fails to impress. The team here goes above and beyond, crafting each cup of coffee to absolute perfection. They use high-quality Common Roast beans and offer an incredible selection of custom lattes to suit any palate.
The pastries are equally amazing—don’t leave without trying the banana nut bread; it’s easily my favorite so far!
What truly sets Mono Coffee apart is the serene atmosphere. It’s perfect for studying or getting work done, thanks to its quiet environment and lack of distracting music.
