I LOVE this place. Patty and the crew are always welcoming. Even when they’re busy!
Their cornbread hits different as it’s not the typical cornbread some of you think. EVERY thing on the menu is good. I literally tried everything. When the banana pudding ice cream is in stock, do yourself a favor and grab one if you can!
I moved out of California and fly out here every month. Always do my best to make a pit stop here before flying back. That’s how good it is!

The most delicious fried chicken .🍗 Mac and cheese , yams I've had oh and the Banana cream ice cream is amazing . The staff are really nice definitely going back again my new soul food spot 😁👍.the Price is very fair ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved this place! Fried chicken and sides were delicious and the service was very nice and welcoming.
Always absolutely the best Catfish Dinner in Lakewood / Cerritos area. Pick any side they all are great. Stuffing and gravy my favorite. They also have Fried chicken which is amazing,. Homemade deserts to top it all off. They close a bit early so don't hold off and miss them .

Great and excellent service!! I needed something sweet and sadly they didn't have peach cobbler but I left with cornbread dressing which was excellent!!
