Thank god. This place was so bad. It gave me the runs. No good. Came one time and done.

We love this place, the people are friendly and the meats are so delicious.

Impressed by the quality of the tacos. The workers are friendly and always have a positive attitude. Make you feel like you are visiting old friends. I personally like this place better than Chronic Tacos. The tacos are a bit on the expensive side but they are big and well stocked with meat. Keep it up fellas.

mmmm...mmmmm....mmmmmm!!! The food is really yummy, and workers are nice too. Build your own stuff, or order! Really good place for great Mexican food.

Amazing. Well seasoned, good quality food. What's great about Piggies are the choices: Start with your choice of Asasda, barbacoa, carnitas, chicken etc., then you can create your meal! Nachos, tacos, sopes, bowls, burritos. You choose the toppings and enjoy! Great place to go when people in your group are undecided on what they want to eat. So many choices.

I have been going into Piggies since it opened. Everything was OK until the last time - yesterday. A few small table seatings outside because of the coronavirus. About four. There was one couple eating at one table. I picked a table, looked at it and went to another because the table was dirty and had sauce on it. I looked at another and it had food droppings on it. I did get one that was fairly clean. But I could tell it was not wiped down. Also there was a few napkins, a plastic fork and a little bit of other trash under the tables. The place was not crowded and there were three people working inside. They were not wiping the few tables down. Plus I had to go back in after I got my order. There was no fork, napkins or sauce that I asked for. When I went back in it seemed like confusion with the employees. It was not busy at all. I patronize the Heritage about a hundred yards away. It is owned by the same people. There was definatly a sanitation problem. And with the coronavirus it should be addressed.

Great burritos and soup, the flavors are wonderful. Everyone is always very friendly and you get a lot of food for the price. Thanks so much for dinner tonight! Stay well you guys.

We were living out of state for 12 years and in the two years we've been back I've been looking for the perfect burrito. I found it at Piggie's! Their chicken burrito is freaking amazing! Better than any other Mexican restaurant I've been to since we have been back in So Cal!

First time was the best! The second time, they got my order wrong. I tried to correct them but still got it wrong. So I just gave up. I asked if they were gonna charge me for the rice and beans that they didn't add, they said, "no charge." I was ready to pay, but wow! That was nice! Anyway, the food is great and will definitely come back again especially since the place is so convenient...literally 2 minutes away from my house.

So good! First time here and it was delicious! I had the barbacoa burrito, and the meat was tender and juicy. My family had the tortas and they were equally as delicious. I wasn't able to take any food pics because we were so quick to devour our meal. Something that did stand out to me is that a gentleman (could have been a lead or a manager?) was so attentive and worked with urgency while remaining cool. The horchata machine wasn't pouring out correctly. As soon as I told him, he stopped what he was doing to take care of it and gave us more ice for our drinks. The simple gesture really touched my grandma's heart and my own.

Me and the family have been there twice and enjoyed both visits. The place is clean including the bathrooms and that is appreciated. The food is very good and I even got a cheeseburger here and is was one of the best. My adult kids both liked the food very much. They are part of Piggie's burger stand one in Long Beach and one in Hawthorne and I've eaten both those places and food is also good there also. Also the heritage Restaurants. One thing I would like though is a little more smiles. We will visit here more often especially during this social separation we are having now. Want to try and keep them open.

The worst Mexican place I have eaten in . Food has no flavor and to dam expensive . I ain't going back at all . Ordered two burritos an a small Plato de aroz. One drink $ 30 dollars. Dam pricey . I don't mind paying , if it's good tasty food . Pero come on There were people eating inside . maybe they don't no what real Mexican food taste like . an people seemed to like going . Why ? I grew up in Boyle Heights an East LA. I moved to Lakewood 3 years ago . I have tried to give the Mexican places of this area a Chance . But they are all nasty no love on the food . Even the taco trucks are different here . Something is missing . I went to taco truck last weekend ordered a burrito , knowing I'm in Lakewood an long Beach . I asked the person wats in the burrito . She said rice , beans , any meat an Salsa . Me thinking while she's telling me wats in it . ok sounds good so far ... She Said " Oh an lettuce , I reapeted to her , lettuce she said yes . I asked her , hey I want a Mexican burrito , not a gringo burrito . Who adds lettuce to a burrito .... I told her , White people . I asked her , she just looked at me . Yes b**** your talking to a full blooded Mexicano . Lettuce in a burrito come on . fake food hell no I will not ever eat at pigies again . or in this area again . Even my wife that's black . Now notices the difference of food . She grew up in the Long Beach , Lakewood area . Before getting together with her She was used to eating fake Mexican food . But one's she met me , an I introduced her my neighborhood . Man she love going down to Boyle Heights and East LA . In order for me to post a comment I have to give a one star . This place doesn't even deserve I star . Maybe the comments this place has are family member's an friends . Not from me , this place sucks . Fake Mexican food . All you white people , take a ride to East LA , Boyle Heights , stop at any taco truck any of them on Whittier Blvd your be surprise.

Its build your own anything, taco, tortas, burritos, bowls. Great for keto. Most everything seemed fresh, I had pastor, the taste was there but the meat seemed like it had been sitting for a while. I'll be back with friends..
