Two weeks ago, my husband placed an order for a birthday cake to be picked up on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Someone in your shop contacted my husband to let him know that no one would be available on Tuesday the 16. They also told my husband that they could do it on the 17th which would not work for us. My birthday is on the 16th and we had a celebration planned out with family and friends. How do you not fulfill orders placed because someone is not there? This doesn't make any sense. It's horrible customer service in my opinion. My husband had to cancel the cake order because the 17 would not work for us. My husband also told me that the person he spoke to over the phone was very rude and sounded like they didn't even care about making it right. Reading your reviews now I have seen so many people say the same thing: you have a very rude person in your shop who needs to be trained on how to talk to customers with kindness. I have been a loyal customer since 2012, but you have lost my business. Now we don't have enough time to order another cake. Sure, I can go to another cake shop and pick up a cake that has already been made, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted a cake from your shop because your cakes and cupcakes are so delicious. I am very disappointed because I really loved your shop. I hope that for next time, you put your customers first and train that person in your shop to be nicer to customers.

Easy to order, good communication via email, was ready when I picked it up, and it came out perfect! Perfect for us 4 to celebrate a little courthouse wedding, tasted great and not overly sweet, frosting was delicious. We got simple decor because my sister didn't want anything fussy or too fancy. Added a simple cake topper from Amazon, but the bakery had a few cute ones for sale too. Will be ordering from here in the future.

SO GOOD. Favorite new cupcake shop. I'm so happy Yelp didn't steer me wrong with this one. All three cupcakes were absolutely delicious- strawberry champagne, pistachio and zucchini --- the best one. You'd never know it was zucchini! Cake was moist and the frosting was light and fluffy, not dense and grainy. Definitely will return. OH! And the person helping us was just so nice!

Every party we that have had Sugar make the cake, everyone wants to eat it!! Other cakes from the grocery store/generic places just don't compare. No one wants to eat those. Sugars cakes are flavorful, moist, and have the components you want in a cake. Zucchini Brown Butter is my family's personal favorite!

I ordered two naked cakes for my daughter's baby shower, and we dressed them ourselves, an orange cranberry cake and a chocolate cake..both were absolutely delicious! I wish I would have asked for some business cards, because everyone asked where they were from.

Everyone loved the cake! Krista was amazing with her suggestions and made sure I got the cake order on time. This was an 8 inch coconut and a 10 inch vanilla cake. Everyone enjoyed both, but the coconut stole the show. Thank you for making an amazing cake for mom's 70th birthday!

I have been using this wonderful bakery to make all my kids' birthday cakes since my daughter turned 1 (in 2016). They have made me so many cakes and they always come out great. They have always made my visions/themes come to life - cake style :) And not only do the cakes look great and so fun on the outside, they taste very yummy too. So thankful I stumbled across this bakery years go. You won't be disappointed! Krista and the whole staff are just the best.
