Cute place. Great local diner. Go here for home style cooking rather than fancy overpriced brunch places.BUT BEWARE OF THE OVERFLOW PARKING LOT! Ignore the sign that has an arrow point to “additional parking in back.” Two people scraped the entire side of their cars trying to fit through the alley. Just leave the front parking lot and go around the block and enter the additional parking lot from the street. It’s really annoying but worth it to not damage your car.Dietary restrictions: My friend was able to find plenty of gluten free options on the menu

Been going here for years because they have the best blueberry pancakes! But this time things were awful. After we were seated, I had to get up 20 minutes later and ask repeatedly for our order to be taken. Then my food was served. After 10 minutes I had to walk back to the kitchen again to get the cup of soup and half sandwich my wife had ordered. I mean there's no reason for them to be late with one of the entrees. Both were waiting in the window already made. Her soup was cold. I had to walk back to the pickup area, soup in hand, to have it microwaved. Hugely disappointed. I guess it's Polly's Pies from now on.

First timer at this joint (hole in a wall place). As I approached the ntrance, an employee was washing the glass entry door, and as soon as I walked through the door he followed me and grabbed the menu and tableware for me which were placed by that same door. Repulsive that he touched the supposed clean tableware with the dirty hands he was washing the door.He then sat me at the table that was had some buckets storage like equipment that was piled up to my head level right behind my seat. I moved to a neighboring booth cause didn't want the buckets land on my head.Waiters took my order and food was average (home-made indeed). Waitress was too busy to check on me if i needed anything and since she didn't show i walked to the kitchen asking for a slice of lemon.Never got a clean napkin so I ended up wiping my hands with that same dirty napkin the tableware was wrapped in when the guy washing glass doors gave it to me.Waiters showed up at my table when my plate was empty. Paid my bill butNO TIP for poor service.Compared to many other mom-and-pop restaurants I have been to in various cities and in several countries, this place is poorly managed and NOT CLEAN.

Bad service, they ignore you to attend to their regulars. Didn't get a menu until we got up to leave. I guess if your not the right kind of person no service even though my money spends the same!!!!!!!

We are in town for a hockey tournament and looked for a breakfast place close to our hotel. This place had great reviews. That was it. The rest, awful. The staff was so unfriendly, no one smiled. The inside could have been cozy and cute but it was just rundown and falling apart with a large piece of wood for a wall and tape holding together the rips in the booth’s upholstery. The food was ok. The bacon was undercooked, the French toast was good. I asked for a hot chocolate for my daughter and they delivered it boiling hot, she never got to drink it. When we asked for water for our table because she couldn’t drink the hot chocolate, the male server wouldn’t acknowledge us and then proceeded to send someone else to our table with only 2 waters for 3 people. If you’re traveling here for anything like a sports tournament with kids, don’t go here. If you’re looking for a cute breakfast place, don’t go here. It will be a disappointment in food, decor, and service.

I'm not judging this restaurant based on the service. The food was very poor this day. The only thing that I enjoyed was the chili

I don't even want to write a review. I want to keep it hidden, but...This has been my family's go-to spot for breakfast on special occasions. To preface this, my family has quite a different dietary requirements(vegetarian, keto, low-carb) and this place has everything on the menu to accommodate you. I'm ashamed to say this but the meals are so good, I have only tried 3-4 dishes...despite having been here for probably more than 100 times.... because they're so good!! The waffles are awesome, the sandwiches are so tasty that some thieves eat my leftovers, the omelets are better than what my mom could make, sorry mom, and the last, my favorite, the jumbo beef chili dog... man that hits the spot. Their hot chocolate is also amazing, I don't even like hot drinks, but I order it everytime. The only con is their grits are bland. I suppose you should have it with sauce but I like ranch hehe
