Super bummed that this location is reported to be closed now! The food was so good and I know many others weren't aware that it had closed. :( But I understand, times are hard right now. I usually go for the 3 meat burrito. I'm not usually one to go for "over the top" choices, but there was something about this burrito that made me come back for more. I love the way they cook the shredded chicken, and the shrimp is to die for. I've gotten a "one meat burrito" like shrimp or chicken, and they're pretty satisfying as well. I usually order my burrito with everything, and add on the chipotle sauce. So delicious! Sad they had to close, but I don't mind making the trip up to their Crenshaw location. They have specials there as well, so to me it makes the drive worth it. Hope they open another location either in Lakewood or Long Beach!

Haven't been to taco Mell since the pandemic. So I decided to call my order in. I ordered a double shrimp burrito and a vegetarian bowl.I must admit it was the best shrimp burrito I've ever had.

Food is always great but a bit pricey. It's worth every dollar. The quality of the food is amazing. I would give it 5 stars but sometimes they mixed up the orders. Last time I was there I asked for a steak burrito no cheese and received a chicken burrito with cheese. 2nd time this happened.

I don't even leave reviews, but I'm completely disappointed in the service i received today..I've always been excited to come eat here but TODAY!! Hell nah! I waited 45min on my order (which I understand has somewhat to do with Covid19) just to receive it to be completely wrong smh. If I'm going to spend my money, I expect to get what i ordered the way i ordered it. On top of that.. my order wasn't the only one messed up..other customers that were waiting at the same time as me, had issues with their orders as well.. Now I don't know if the employees back there were new or they clearly just didn't give af..but this was a bad look yall..I usually LOVE me some Taco Mell..but this was ALL BAD..the rice was burnt, meat was dry, items I requested were missing and items that I said don't add, were added smh..then had to wait another 20min just to get some toppings that were supposed to be on my tacos. Straight garbage..waisted my money..should of took my a$$ to Chipotle smh. That $25 could have went towards some triple OG or a bottle*UPDATE* 8/24/2020I would like to show appreciation to Mrs Coya for reaching out to me and speaking to my husband. She handled our concerns quickly and professionally. We understand everyday is not going to run smoothly and we will still continue to be a customer at Taco Mell. Thank you Coya.

Amazing. Got the surf and turf and steak burritos both were delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly, the sauce had a good tang. I ordered it with the; chipotle, red, and green sauce. It was a little messy but it was worth it , if you like spicy I recommend getting all three sauces. Burritos were big with quality. Black owned is a bonus. Solid 5 stars

I have had meals from here before that were very enjoyable, but today I ordered through Door Dash and it was delivered at a very good time, the problem was that everything was so salty that I had to get rid of it. Not sure what happened but this is not their normal food. Just upset that it wound up being a waste of a lot of money.

Omggg first time trying this place located in the Lakewood Mall. I heard a lot about the popular 3 meat burrito and it definitely did not disappoint. The meat is seasoned SO well and very very flavorful. I added guacamole and they were very generous with it. I think it rivals some of the other popular burrito spots I've tried. Definitely get the 3 meat burrito, get a kool aid and enjoy!
This was making food great service and black owned! I got the chicken and shrimp bowl which I highly recommend. Also don't forget your salsa

Lady taking order, Sage had failed to input or 42 at and 4 burrito order from their online app and about an hour later we arrived to find that she DID see the order on her online pad, but said "It's right here, I just haven't put it in yet!! WHAT??? Besides sitting and chatting, what else did you have going on to prevent that? So, the manager on duty was exceptionally kind and understanding and did all he could to help at this point. So, close to about 2.5 hours total waiting, we finally got our order. The food seasoning was...average to me. Not authentic...more like "all season" was used to season taco and burrito meat THAT day. May be different without the rush they had to do for us. But, go and judge for yourself. Very busy which is a good thing.
