Every time we come to visit family in Bakersfield we drive out to Lamont to La Mina. They have excellent homemade food. We have eaten tamales, menudo, quesa birria tacos, and their breakfast burritos on several occasions. Everything is always hot and delicious. If you have to wait a little it's because it's homemade. If you want fast food go down the street. The hidden gem!

Don't know about their food, but the owner refuse to allow people to leave water for dogs that have been abandoned near the restaurant. Just frigging water... during a 114 degree heat wave.
