This place is delicious, it might be just a burger spot, but eveytime we go out to Bakersfield. We make it a point to drive out to Lamont and eat at Root Beer King.

First and last time I'm coming here they made my salad horribly and gave me a small portion less than what you pay for I got scammed so don't come to this place if you don't want to get scammed.

COCKROACH!! Was found in my rootbeer float on our drive home. Occasionally we drive from Bakersfield to Lamont because the fries are best at this location. We called to notify them of our findings. The lady asked what we ordered (our order: 1fry, 2 hamburgers, 3 shakes, chilie cheese fris and a chilie dog.) She said she could ONLY REFUND the ONE shake the roach was found in. We were already back in town and just asked for her to make sure the machines were cleaned periodically and properly. Lady was rude.Will not be going back!!! Will not recommend!!!
