I wish there was a way to give negative Stars when I'm walking to the establishment I was looking at the menu for about maybe one minute tops! I literally only had time to maybe look over two items on the menu and The woman behind the counter told me I should just take a picture of the menu .. I looked at her very shocked and surprised and I told her I was going to order but I am no longer going to order and I walked out of there!!! how rude and very unprofessional! that is not how anyone should talk to a customer that is not you stay un business ! that was so awful to experience...
Stopped in at the restaurant because I was so hungry on the bus from Tehachapi; I had a half hour to kill for my bus home. So the first place I saw the fish place next door, but they didn't have seating inside, so I walked to next restaurant and went inside.
Immediately I could smell the stuff cooking, and on a hungry stomach it sure smelled divine. I love shrimp, so I picked the Shrimp Sandwich and boy was my tummy happy. I sure am very happy I found this little shop. I surely will be returning. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

We’re visiting from Tampa and just ate at A1. The kufta kabab meat was old and not good. Was like pulling teeth to get 3 styrofoam plates for six people to eat in! Not a smile, hello or goodbye to be had. Thank God we don’t live here as the place is terrible.

Today, I visited Lancaster, CA, and had the pleasure of dining at A1 KOBOB, a charming little Middle Eastern restaurant. I truly enjoyed the food, which is made fresh from scratch. I sampled their specialty Beef Kobob served with rice, hummus, and salad, and it was absolutely delicious. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by this small restaurant. It's a wonderful way to support the lady who runs it all by herself.

I have to update my review. Sadly the woman at the counter really needs a course on customer service. I am heartbroken as this is one of my Fiancée and Myself favorite quick pick up meals.
I ordered a 2 meat plate and a 3 meat plate as I always do. When I arrived the woman at the counter rang it up and said what sounded like $105.00. I asked WHAT...... She responded yes 3 orders of 2 meat plate and 2 orders of 3 meat plates. I explained no it was 1 and 1 as I always order. She got irrational and said very loudly "NO I TOLD YOU 10 TIMES ON THE PHONE THE ORDER AND YOU SAID YES.....lol sorry hun....we're having Panda Express for dinner now and you are stuck with 5 plates of food.
I just LOVE this place!! I just ordered Door Dash, but I also like going inside. I just had the Beef Shawarma Plate and I am full and VERY happy. I also LOVE their Baklava ? I gave their Atmosphere a 3 star bc it is always a bit warm in there, but I’d still eat there!
Definitely not “A1” Mediterranean food. We ordered delivery and the chicken kabob was terribly dry, lacked in flavor, the rice taste like it’s from a rice-a-roni box, the pita bread was so dry it split it half, the hummus was extra water, and they forgot our sauces. I’d give it a 1 but I’m trying to be nice.
