Every time I passed through this area, I had second thoughts, but a few months ago I decided to give this place a try since I enjoy Mediterranean food. I walked in and was treated politely, and I ordered a combo kabob to go. Unfortunately, the chicken had an unusual smell and the Lula didn’t taste quite right either. I took a couple of bites but couldn’t finish it. Even the rice didn’t sit well with me. I ended up tossing the meal, which was disappointing after spending around twenty dollars. In my opinion, it might be worth checking out other places if you’re looking for a better experience. I probably should have gone with my first instinct.

Absolutely delicious!!! This place is a gem in Lancaster! Delicious middle Easter food, incredible service and AMAZING PORTIONS!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. They have a grocery store connected to it too! So you can shop their amazing selection of arabic, and European products while waiting for your food. Awesome place.

AV Kabob is ALL about the food. You get a lot of food for the price and it's VERY good. However, it is not the place to go to impress someone on a first date. You simply get your food and go.

I've eaten at several different Mediterranean places locally and this is still by far my favorite!! Esp try their garlic spread wow! Also the baklava and they always have rather rare oddities you can't find anywhere else keep up the great work serving delicious food to the community!!!

Great food, great service, needs a cleaning and renovation. I love this place but they really need to clean it up, get some new tables and chairs and make it look nice. I get that they don't have room or the equipment for dishwashing but they should at least have a clean comfortable place to sit and get rid of all that useless garbage in there wasting space. I highly recommend this place but it would be nice to see it LOOK nice. Needs a makeover. Call Gordon Ramsey!

BEST Mediterranean food there is in the Antelope Valley. It is a great hole in the wall that everyone must try. My husband and I have been going there for years and they have always been consistent in the food. We have tried other places annd they do not meet up to par with AV Kabob. Absolutely everything is delicious - quantity of everything is perfect, heck you can even share a plate. Like everything else, of course it might be a little pricy but I can assure you that you definitely pay what you get and they do not skimp out! It might not be the most luxurious place nor have “fancy” utensils and such to dine in, but all that shouldn’t matter for the quality and quantity of the food! Please try this place, I can assure you that you will never want to eat at another Mediterranean restaurant that is not AV Kabob. I will post pictures once we go again! AGAIN, THE BEST!!!

I love coming here to eat and shop for International spices/food. The people are friendly. The selection is a bit small for shopping but I'm happy for what is available for purchase. Eating here is such a good idea. The dishes are outstanding.
