Everyone, if you are looking for an eclectic menu of really good food. This is your place. Not the nicest. But, clean, good service and the food is delicious. Their desets are awesomely good. As are their soups. The oxtail spup is amazing. The caldo the res is amazing. It's takes them a min, but it's because it's made fresh and served hot and ready. Their Mexican breads fresh. They have offerings from Gustemala, Colombia, Mexico, Cuba and Peru. It's crazy....
I've had the charbroiled chicken twice now. That's it - no sides, no drinks, no nonsense. Just that straight up meat.
It's very good. Way better than El Pollo Loco. Not sure if it's better than the former Casita Lopez (now Casita Torres, I think) - those folks there serve a tasty chicken. It's better than a Costco rotisserie chicken, but 4 times better?? I don't think so.
