My family and I discovered this place after a bad experience from (SUN FLOWER CAFE). And it was the best mistake SUN FLOWER CAFE MADE, because if it hadn't been for them we wouldn't have discovered this amazing restaurant.
Right away were treated to a hearty welcome. Our server ( I forgot her name, but had short hair) provided amazing service. Constantly checking in on us and was beyond friend with my daughters.
The food is AMAZING and delicious!! I KID YOU NOT!! IT WILL TAKE YOU DOWN MEMORY LANE AND YOU WILL REMINISCE ABOUT THE DISHES YOUR MOM USED TO COOK FOR YOU!
We recently went for a second visit and again, we were treated phenomenal, as if we were family. The Cook recognized us and went out of his way to come to our table and greet us. This kind of services speaks volumes.

It's hard to find good Mexican food in the AV area, and I can honestly say this place was DELICIOUS!! We ordered the Aztec platter appetizer & I had the shrimp fajitas, so 👍 good.
Walked in anticipating seating and service, did not even receive a greeting! And when two white women came in the hostess/waiter grabbed a menu, thinking they were finally seating me - they completely ignored me and went to serve them. From there, I just walked out, it was clear they didn't want my business. But if you're a person of color, specifically black, probably best to steer clear.
