Prices are expensive and food is nasty taste like salt. The ribs are pre cooked and dried out more like beef jerky. Oxtails are fatty and taste of salt like Lawry’s seasoning. When I told the young lady that my rib was very hard and dried out she just looked at me and said nothing mind you I paid $8 for 1 rib 🤔 even the free ice cream is fake and nasty. Every thing in the menu is nasty and taste all the same I believe they use the same seasoning on all of their foods (Lawry seasoning) the vibes wasn’t pleasing. $28 for a potato 🥔 is ridiculous and they’re just getting over on the less fortunate that is using Ebt to pay for hot foods meal program. And they always say poor black businesses for what when the black business is over price

i personally didn’t try the food here, but when i did walk in, i was there for maybe 2-3 minutes before i had to leave because the smell of something rotten and/or a septic issue was making me nauseous. really bummed because i wanted to try this location since i do like dickey’s :(

I ordered two dinners but the only sides were greens.. They gave us ribs with barely meat on them. How do you not accommodate your customer. He doubled up on the greens (when we didn’t want that) we spent $65.00 for scraps.

If you like good food don't come here, i got 3 meats and 2 sides the entire meal was cold to start with, and there was no flavor. The sausage taste like it was boiled with no seasoning and sat out for a couple hours before serving it, the gave me two small slices of brisket and one of them was just fat, and the pull pork was also 70% fat 30% unseasoned cold pork. to top it off this was over priced in my opinion 40$ for 1 meal with a drink is wild. Hope this helps people from avoiding the same mistake as me.

I spent $36 on a rib tip meal and a one piece barbecue kids meal first off the rib chips were super tough not tender at all my 10-year-old granddaughter found a piece of hair on her rib so it went in the trash the macaroni and cheese is so hard on top. You can literally pick it up with your hand. I went here because I lived in Lancaster and I would always go to dickies and the meat was falling off the bone. This one in Lancaster needs to reach out to that dickies in Victorville California and see what they do to keep their meat so tender and keeping the customers coming back. I would rate this place a two star because the food literally was not up to standards at all.

I really hate leaving 1-star reviews, but I honestly feel like I was treated like a complete afterthought at this place. I’ve been to plenty of BBQ spots, and even when things go wrong, most places try to make it right. Not here.

I placed an order ahead of time, thinking it’d be an easy pickup. I showed up and stood at the counter… and waited. And waited. I made eye contact with multiple employees, but not one of them said a word to me. No “Hi, we’ll be right with you,” no “Thanks for your patience,” nothing. Just silence. Like I didn’t even exist. At first, I thought maybe they were just short-staffed or stressed. But as time went on and more people walked by and still didn’t acknowledge me, it honestly started to feel disrespectful.

When someone finally came over, they casually told me they were out of pecan pie — which was one of the things I was most looking forward to. No heads-up, no offer to make it up to me, just a “we’re out” like I was supposed to just accept it and move on. I didn’t even feel mad, just… kind of sad and disappointed. It felt like nobody there actually cared whether I had a good experience or not.

And by the time they sorted things out and handed me the food, everything was cold. The brisket was dry, the sides were flavorless, and I honestly didn’t even feel like eating anymore after all that.

It wasn’t just the food or the wait. It was the complete lack of care — like I wasn’t even a real person to them. Just another ticket. I left feeling invisible. Won’t be going back.

Since when did a $43.00 full rack of beef ribs shrink to only six huge soup bones with all the meat stripped off, a full rack industry standards min 8-9 bones, Minimum!
