First and last time I’ll ever take my family to eat here. Worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten, disappointed although the mixed drinks were good

I've really tried to give this place a fair shot, but unfortunately, it continues to fall short. We've come a few times for Taco Tuesdays hoping for a fun, lively atmosphere, but it's always empty or no music, minimal staff, and barely any other customers. The space feels dark, quiet, and honestly, a bit uncomfortable.

Cleanliness isn’t great, and the service tends to be slow or inattentive, even when there are only a couple of people dining in. The addition of movies on the screen instead of music seemed like an attempt to create ambiance, but it just made things feel more awkward and quiet.

As for the food, I was hesitant based on how it was being handled, but still decided to give it a try, it unfortunately didn’t taste fresh or well-prepared. Their B rating honestly reflects the overall experience.

If I can give 0 star I would. I usually come to this restaurant every so often only for drinks and nothing else and I usually don’t get food because it’s not good. But yesterday I bought tacos and a margarita drink and when I came home I was violently ill with food poisoning and e/coli. If you decide to eat here please reconsider I would never come back here.

Great taco Tuesday specials and nice music good vibes

We have been here before once a year ago and food was good this why we came back. Today food was awful, food was pure salt. One plate was returned to the kitchen. The restaurant seemed warmer usual, it wasn't comfortable. We asked for our bill and that took forever, we were credit for the plate that wasn't touched. They need a new cook.

This was the worst restaurant I’ve ever experienced. From the moment my partner and I walked in the service was bad. The person at the front was on the phone and had a bad attitude when we walked in. Like she did not see us. Our drinks were pit in plastic cups instead of glass. The waiters did not come back and check on us through out of time there. It took about 50 minutes for us to get our entre that came with our meal. We had to ask for it to be put in to go boxes because they took so long. Then they forgot to give us our cheese cake. When we asked they stated that it would be out in 5 minutes. We already waited over 50 minuets. Why is the service so slow. When we got home to eat the food it was not good. The steak was not seasoned at all. I would never go back to this place again worst experience ever.

This was the 2nd time I've been there and had the most ridiculous experience so I'll never go back.

We were seated right away and asked for a drink menu. The waiter disappeared for 5 minutes and came back with a small placard with a barely distinguishable worn out QR code that obviously didn't scan. 10 minutes later when the waiter came back we asked how to scan the QT code since it wasn't working. He told us to look online. Guess what, their website does not list one single drink AT ALL! LITERALLY! We even googled the name of the restaurant with the words "drink menu" and nothing came up.

The waiter didn't believe us and took my phone to look for himself (gross, but ok since he apparently thought we were lying). Turns out, he couldn't find them on the website either, because they, in fact, are not listed there.
Another 10 minutes and he gets a new QR code from the bartender.

My God, we almost left because we thought we were in an alternate reality where a restaurant doesn't want to serve us a margarita on taco Tuesday.

It was the most absurd 30ish minutes I've ever had in my life trying to order a drink.

The food is 4/5 stars. Nothing special but authentic enough and decent prices during happy hour on Tuesdays.

I went at night. The entry fee being 10 dollars is a bit steel for my liking. Especially because drinks are pretty expensive at that. I still had a pretty good time though!

Don Sal's club nights are some of the best in the AV. If you like dancing and have nothing to do Friday or Saturday night. Check this place out.
