The food was really good. We spent $63 for 7 pupusas, an order of plátanos fritos with beans and sour cream, yuca con chicharrón, and two large horchatas. We picked the food up and it was ready in 30 mins. The service was good, which I've seen other reviews that it's not, but it was pleasant. The pupusas have alot of flavor. The plátanos were moist and not dry like other places when fried. The yuca was also not dry which was really good, but they only added 4 small...
I went in to check out the restaurant because my neighbor recommended it. I was pleasantly surprised just how good it was. I ordered some take out tamales. The person taking my order was so kind explaining my order and the difference between El Salvadoran food and "American Mexican " prior to preparing my orders that I wouldn't be surprised. My order was prepared quickly and the service was great....... I will be back.
Doña Blanca is a very nice place for freshly made pupusas, atole de elote, soup de gallina criolla with grilled chicken on the side, freshly made tortillas, everything is fresh and delicious, if you want to try it, you have to order ahead, because it takes time to get the food but it is worth the wait.
