I USUALLY ALWAYS COME TO THIS EL POLLO LOCO AND I ALWAYSSSS COMMEND THEM FOR THEIR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. … well today that wasn’t the case ….. I came in through the dt around 12:55ish and ordered a bowl… the lady proceeds to ask me if I want to compliment my food with guacamole; which I replied “sure” .. but when I got to the window I realized I didn’t have my debit card only enough cash to pay for what I originally ordered . I told her to take off the guac because I do not have enough .. she slams the window in my face as if that pissed her off … she then proceeds to give me my drink and I asked at the speaker “no Ice pls “ when I get my drink there’s ice in it .. was I mad?! No not really because it’s a simple mistake that could’ve been fixed in less than 20sec . She snatches the drink back as if she had an attitude.. I’m sorry that you have you work at El Pollo Loco BRENDA ….. if you want a higher paying job or a career for that matter…, try checking yourself into a trade or college … have a better day pls don’t take your frustrations out on the customer , we’re the reason you’re able to get that lil check you get !!!

Ordered dinner for my child and I . Came home ate and it came right back up. Chicken tasted and looked weird; some raw pieces , some burnt/ extra dry pieces . Yall need to Do better .

Just an FYI to the general public, this location for whatever reason charges a few bucks more on each item compared to the one on ave L and 10th west. If you can help it, go to the one by costco. Im between both and wish I'd realized this earlier, throwing 2 or 3 bucks away for each bowl order for no reason if I go to this location. Check the app!

The young lady, Steph, working the front counter this morning 10/23 @about 1030 was SO KIND and helpful. The bowls my mom and I got were perfect too! (Even though I had to be annoying and not have chicken on mine and my mom didn't want onions or cilantro lol) Thank you so much!

Customer service at this location was great. I was in and out of the drive thru quickly. I normally recommended the value bowl, but this location seemed to put less chicken in the bowl than other locations I've visited. Other than that, all the food options are solid. Traffic can be busy around this area because of Costco so I recommend coming in through 10th St West instead of Avenue L.
