I want to start by saying that I went against my better judgment and ordered from a place with less than four stars. With that being said, the first time I ordered the food was delicious. I ordered a pound of red snapper and a large hush puppies, and I received a nice portion of red snapper nuggets. I paid about $22.49. Today, I happened to put in a phone order, and came in before my food was ready and the lady was trying to charge me over $24, for the same order I paid $22.49, the last time I was there. Then she tells me we'll we gave you more than a pound of snapper. I said I didn't order more than a pound, so then she tried to weigh some fresh fish, so she could figure out how much less of a pound of fish to give me, but my food was already cooking. I told her it did not make sense to weigh some fresh fish and charge me less...so they charged me the regular price and took off half my fish. I will never be back. When I called to complain, they would not answer the phone. I would not recommend this place. Their customer service is horrible, and they try to overcharge you.

2.5 stars. I see what the reviews were talking about with customer service for sure. As for my order. It is odd that they don’t have meals with set prices. I ordered two pounds of filet sole six pieces of hush puppies and a side of large fries. This came to about $44 and some changes. No receipts are given and the dry erase board does not provide a full menu breakdown. Not much shrimp either. To top it off. I did not get the order of fries I ordered to go with all the fish. First and last visit.

The food is pretty good. The service is very fast. The only thing that I didn’t like is that everything is so separately so one piece of fish fries everything is sold separately.
now I do understand the price of food items are increasing drastically, but this is a little too much Even if you have EBT so just be prepared if you do come know that you’re buying everything specifically if it’s a jar of oysters a jar oysters if it’s catfish just each piece if it’s the fries it’s just the fries. There are no combos. And no drink they didn’t have any drink options so I guess after we eat this fish we’re gonna swallow our spit lol or I was good though. There are no family meals which causes things to add up very fast outside of that. Good service and a lot of parking available. Wheelchair access.

Currently at the restaurant. Caught the cashier overcharging me. Asked for 2 half pounds and instead of charging me 2 half pounds she went $2.20 over on my catfish and $2 over on my red snapper. Total extra charge of $4.20. Now if she take $4 from every customer how much extra will she take home? Scamming minorities. Then when I asked her she says she gave me 4 pieces and it was $2 over. I don't care 1/2 pound is 1/2 pound or 224 grams it's all the same.

They're buffalo fish is very good. They fried perfectly, crispy and well done just the way I like it. All of their fish is good and they fry it in that delicious cornmeal.

First ate there, average at best. Went there about 2 weeks ago and had one of the best meals this year... Went back again that same week and had the jumbo shrimp, delicious!!
