Great tasting food, I worry about their staffing needs as service was a bit slow.

Honestly one of mine and my partner's favorite date spots. We do kind of miss how it was at opening, particularly the other options for shabu and that we didn't get the chance to try the hot stone, but we get that restaurants have to change for their audience or for cost reasons sometimes. Now, it's a great place to be able to try a lot of different things at once and not go completely broke. When we ate in-restaurant last time, we got the shabu, a shrimp curry, 3 apps and 2 rolls for under $100. Incredible value for incredible food. Our favorites are definitely the carpaccio, takoyaki, and if you're in the restaurant, definitely have the shabu there. Shabu is something better experienced in person. With how good the stuff we have had so far has been, I trust that pretty much anything you order will be good. Also, be on time if you order pickup (sorry to the staff for the timing snag on our end).

I ordered SHABU-SHABU today around 5pm.
The woman server brought us only dish.
No spoon, no bowl, no sauce, no tongs for picking meat. They didn’t served anything. So I had to ask her several times. She didn’t even brought them us right away though. Since we were with two kids we couldn’t afford to easygoing waiting.
Me and my husband have had that Shabu a couple of times in this restaurant and we like it.
However I disappointed the service-wise today.

We visited for the first time, hoping to try the wagyu, but it’s no longer on the menu. They also don’t have their liquor license yet. The owner explained the situation, and we appreciated the transparency, so we decided to stay and try other items. We ordered a sushi roll, a few spicy katsu chicken, and a udon soup. Everything was nicely presented, tasted fresh, and was fairly priced. This place has exceptional potential, and we’re looking forward to seeing how it grows.

The service was horrible. Appetizers arrived after main course. Had to ask for utensils AFTER our meal was delivered. Ordered 4 sushi rolls. All the flavors were one note. No discernible difference in taste. The “house” sauce was just sticky sweet teriyaki. Waited and waited to pay the check. There was no one checking on you. Every booth needed to be bussed and it wasn’t busy. The place is clean and they had cute little to go boxes. Won’t be back.

A meal without beer or wine is called breakfast. I don’t understand all the stellar reviews that they get. Did they get all their buddies to make the reviews. Something is not right. This place doesn’t serve alcohol. When I walked in, it took me several minutes to get seated then when I sat down it took another several minutes for the waiter to come and get me a menu so now I’m waiting 15 minutes from the time I walked in the door. Now I can understand this if the place was full, but there was only one table that had any customers at it So farI haven’t been able to order anything yet so finally he comes and takes my order and well there’s no sushi. I can have sashimi or ImI can have rolls, but Sushi is out. so right away. I knew this is not a sushi bar well that and the fact that there’s no sushi bar in the place when you walk in the door, I ordered the California roll and some sort of yellow tail roll. Neither one was that good but I ate the California roll and a couple of pieces of the yellowtail roll and then I got up and left not recommended don’t bother.

The food had no flavor. Black pepper beef should have flavor. We shouldn't have to add our on black pepper flavor to it. Definitely not worth the price.

Got a few appetizers and sushi it was good. Shabu shabu was good the spicy version was flavorful. I got the pork curry katsun bowl, it was good and wish it had more curry in it. Other than the wait because they had one cook at the time, the food was good overall.

Service was slow during what seemed like a slow Tuesday. Our waitress was polite and friendly, but seemed distracted. Food was excellent. The menu has changed and simplified, but seems more efficient.
