This place has excellent food, service and atmosphere, the portions are large, our first time here, will definitely be back. If you have a large party I recommend you call for reservations. But not required.

We usually go fo lunch but this time decided to try dinner. We have always been more than pleased with lunch!Sadly, dinner was not in the same league as lunch. Ordered the steak sandwich, came out burnt and with some strange seasoning. We returned the he sandwich and ordered French Onion soup to go. The waitress said they would comp the soup. When we received the bill the sandwich was still on the bill. Then the waitress said that was the charge for the soup. $19.00 for 1/2 of soup? To top it off, the soup had the same seasoning as the steak and was totally inedible. Tasted like huge amounts of sage. Sage doesn't go in French Onion soup..Was greatly disappointed in our dinner especially after all the great lunches we had there.

We are local Acres Residents. We live ½ mile away, never tried this place until tonight. Decided to give it a shot for my birthday dinner. Gotta say the food was spot on, I got a ribeye, asparagus and au gratin potatoes all were really good. Kids got burgers and mini corn dogs, wife had a burger as well. Ordered loaded fries for an appetizer. Again all were spot on and delicious. The downfall of our night was the service. Our waitress seemed to busy talking to the other table behind us and forgot everything else we needed. Asked for ketchup with our fries, never got it, ordered a kids coke, never got it, also ordered a Vodka Mule and never got it. From our bread to our water cups, she never asked to refill or take our plates away, had a pile of dishes at the very end before another waitress came and asked to take them away, the other waitress also took our bill and payment because our girl was off elsewhere. Would give 5 stars for sure but the service kinda ruined the whole experience tonight. Everybody else was awesome, even the dude who seated us cleaned 2 tables just to get us a booth. We just drew the short straw on our waitress tonight. We will give it another go, maybe at lunch in the future. Also to note, it was busy but wasn't a packed house, there was at least 6 or 7 open tables left when we sat down.

Great place. The Pulled Pork, Bacon, Cheese Curd burger is amazing, But don't have anything planned, it'll put you in a coma. This burger is expensive as hell too. But worth a try.

The Iron Cactus is an amazing restaurant located in the middle of the AV desert, it's worth the drive. The staff and waitress Rochelle were absolutely fantastic. The steaks ( filet mignon and rib eye) ordered were great, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The menu items all looked delicious. Next time, I plan on trying one of their pasta dishes.

Ok you guys! A gem in the middle of the desert! My hubby brought me here for a Valentine's date. The steak absolutely rivals any. We added the bone marrow for a super uncious experience. We started with southwest shrimp O.M.G.! I highly recommend that. Ended with a special chocolate gnache cake. Excellent whole meal experience. The service was superb as well.
