Chicken and fish was good, the dirty rice could've stayed there but the Mac and cheese was decent.

The owner is great and always so friendly! The food is even better. I go at least twice a week to get a 3 piece wing with fries. The food is always fresh. I highly recommend.

Lack of cultural sensitivity. Poor customer service. Owner feels as if he can be authority over customers yet not his staff. Owner becomes defensive when addressed by customer regarding Poor customer service and curses at customers calling black women insulting names and not accepting accountability for Poor service. I would think twice about patronizing any establishment that disrespects members from community in which he or she stands to make a profit. I'm truly appalled to say the least!

I placed an order online. I go inside and I go to the pick up window. I told the girl I had placed an order. She sends me to the order window. I'm at the order window I'm telling the guy that I placed an online order. He tells me to wait a minute, he proceeds to get on the phone and take a phone order, and it took longer than it should've. When he's finally off the phone l tell him that I placed an online order. He tells me to go to the other window. I tell him that's where I went and the girl sent me to him. And by this time I'm upset. He doesn't want to hear it. He tells the girl I'm picking up a door dash order. Now I'm back at the other window. She wants to see my order, I show her my phone. She proceeds to get my bag and hands it to me and I say to her, did you give me hot sauce, then she puts hot sauce and hands me my bag. No one apologized for making me wait when I didn't have to. All I needed was an apology and they would've gotten a nice review.

The service at this particular restaurant was very poor. The food I received, seemed as though it was day old chicken. The hottest part of the meal was the fries that they, placed on top of the chicken. And for me to go there right after they opened truly made no sense. They even had us sit there for fifteen minutes, as if they were making it fresh like any other Louisiana’s. But that was just a facade. The chicken should have been fresh and even under a heat lamp, but that wasn’t the case and to be honest it would have done nothing for the chicken, it wasn’t the same, un-fresh is un-fresh. Also, when I called to make them aware of the issues, they kept putting me on hold and then hanging up on me. And on my fourth call, I requested to speak to the manager and his response to all of this was to prepare another order of chicken. That would have been cool, but when we went in there to get it, it was as if they had an attitude. They made sure to make us wait until every last person left the store and even had an attitude as if they did not want to give us the chicken that was originally poorly made or as I believe made on a previous day and left out to serve to it’s customers and that’s my opinion (due to the taste it had after heating the poorly made chicken). On this day service was below average. Furthermore, the other order of chicken that was prepared to replace the first order, completely made you aware that the chicken given was day old and sitting out from the previous day. We as customers, pay entirely to much money to walk away with food that is poorly prepared, or in this case not prepared like it should have been. Oh and we did not order over the phone, we walked in and order the food and waited until it was prepared, so we thought.

Parking: Parking is not an issue.

This chicken was cooked tender and juicy with a crisp yet soft batter. I also ordered red beans & rice, corn fritters, and fried okra. All were savory and cooked to perfect doneness. This Louisiana restaurant is a hit!

Well, had to come back and edit my post because it was too good to stop eating and type. Even the cat wanted some. Real good seasoning on the chicken with just a little heat, but I like the hot sauce. All the sides, fritters, okra, and red beans & rice, were done right. I think I’m coming here instead of Popeye’s.

Food always taste great but your employees struggle on getting orders right. They always forget something fries, bread, drinks with the combo. They need to be retrained and you never take responsibility to go above and beyond the mistake. If you forgot to fry a piece of chicken make sure you offer something for wasting my time and making me sit at the restaurant longer than I would like. Basic customer service this establishment lacks; so I strongly suggest training them in that. Even the owner looks lost when putting together orders and barely offers compensation for mistake that take time out of your day.
