I honestly feel bad writing this because the owners are such kind and genuine people, they always go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect when they’re around, but unfortunately, the workers don’t show that same level of care.
When we walked in, no one came to greet us or take our order; instead, the staff were standing in the kitchen gossiping and glancing our way while ignoring us. Every single table in the restaurant was dirty, and when I politely asked one of the workers if she could clean ours, she did it with a bad attitude and barely wiped it down. I’m really not a picky person, but it was disappointing to see that every table was in the same condition.
We ordered drinks and Salvadoran food. The drinks came out after about 10–15 minutes, but the food took almost an hour to arrive. Once we finished eating, we waited about 30 minutes after asking for the check, and then another 10 minutes standing at the cashier because no one came to take our payment, even though the staff could clearly see us waiting.
The food itself was good, but the service really needs improvement, especially since the owners clearly care so much about their business and the experience they want their customers to have.

My mom has been talking about this hidden gem for a while, and I finally tried it today. The pupusas look a little different, but in the best way possible. The texture of the rice pupusas reminded me of mi little Pulgarcito, with that soft, buttery rice flour that melts in your mouth. The pupusas de maíz also stand out because they don’t taste like maseca. Most places use generic corn flour and you can taste the difference, but here everything tastes fresh, authentic, and made with care.
& don’t forget to ask for their spicy salsa. This place gets a 10/10.

Usually, I have to get good pupusas in Palmdale. I finally found my GO TO place for Central American deliciousness. They had a $2.50 special on Pupusas Revueltas on a Thursday. They were so good and tasty. Super fresh. I also ordered the fried plantain, with beans and sour cream. Oh so good! Hit the spot. They have many breakfast options and you can get them at anytime of day. They also have a variety of ice cream treats and various snack treats. Best of all the Agua frescas are all natural no syrup. I had an authentic horchata so yummy. I work for AAA and this will be my new lunch grab place. The cashiers super attentive and nice you just need to take your time to talk to people and get to know them for the first time before jumping to conclusions. They work really hard to bring their best forward you can tell. This is not fast food, you have to be patient. And we still received our food in a timely manner. Love this place. Update: went again to try their Desayuno Tipico (Typical Breakfast) very authentic. Delicious. Also had the fresh green juice with my meal and it has now become my favorite go to place. I shall return.

I always thought this was a dessert spot to my surprise this is a Salvadoran restaurant. Today I was able to try their frozen treat and I enjoyed the strawberry and cheesecake. Aesthetic and delicious. I look forward to coming again for Salvadoran dishes.

Delicious, excellent, & friendly sums up our experience at Manantial... We definitely recommend eating here. The pupusas were the best we ever tried. The loroco & salsa that topped the pupusas were made to perfection. If you're looking for excellent food & service go here.

The establishment closed 10 minutes early as they seen us approaching the building. I feel like if you close at 7 PM on Sundays, you should stay open till 7 PM and I close 10/15 minutes early. That’s false advertisement. And then I lock up as we were walking up is crazy.
