Very disappointed in Maribel’s! there service today was so horrible the girl that took our order was rude she hung up on me twice, and when I did speak with her she kept putting me on hold and would completely forget that I was even on the line finally after the fourth attempt I called in and ordered my food at 12:15 and my food was not ready until 1:15 normally I don’t mind waiting especially if the food is good! but I order chilaquiles and they were extremely dry no sauce in the photo I had to add sauce that’s how dry they were! the beans tasted canned and I have had their chilaquiles before and what a big difference, they were not good! And honestly for what I paid and waited for! And the service they gave me was terrible! That would be the last time I eat there! They lost a loyal customer! That picture was only 10 minutes after they handed to me! It looks like it’s been there over night!

Fat guy with glasses is not doing this business justice.Proper training in customer service would be helpful or this establishment will keep loosing customers.

If I could leave no star I would.. husband went in to look for some sweet breads first took his time to attend him, then my husband had a question asking if they carried a certain pastry And the man with glasses was so unprofessional and rude unnecessary comments.... Lost a customer.

Best tamales in the area by far! They are enormous! The masa is seasoned and not bland and they FILL the tamales with so much delicious meat! From end to end! I can only eat half of one.The people are extremely friendly and you can tell they really believe in the quality of their food. ????

The fat guy with glasses is super rude and asked me to leave because I told him his birria has gone bad and still expected me to eat it even after it smelled rotten and his waitress also agreed with me. Mind you I had literally been there less than 10 minutes and he already said to go else where. He refused to get me something else because he said this was a LOSS for him even though you can clearly smell the food had gone bad. What should I have done, eaten it and get food poisoning? Unfortunately he’s the owner. So disappointed don’t waste your time or money here horrible customer service and very disappointing.

Pastries were delicious. Fast service and good food. They have many options which I like because I'll be craving different things. Prices are decent.

The sign on the door said they're "open". As soon as I stepped in, the person manning the store rudely said that they're closed, and she was taking off her apron and looking for her purse. When I pointed out that the sign said they're open, she almost yelled to say they're closed. I asked why since it was lunch time. She said there was no one there to help customers. I asked when it will be opened again. She said she doesn't know. I was getting ready to drive off when I saw her get in a waiting car outside. I guess she was the help that cannot be bothered. Two more people tried to get in the place because she left the "open" sign on the door. I called a few days later to inform someone else at the place about what happened. The guy didn't want to hear the complaint and put me on hold. IDK if the owner is aware that her help are unreliable and rude. Needless to say, not going back to this place.

Rude costumer service. Will not be returning! The way they run their place has changed a lot, and my family and I have been going there since 1997.

Today, (1/4/24 around 3:30 pm) date I encounter a pretty rude cashier. From the time that I called in to put in an order, to paying for the pupusas, this lady was just short tempered with me. She got frustrated with me when I told her that I put in 3 separate orders, and then I ask to add one more pupusa, and she had an attitude telling me that it will take 30 to 40 minutes for that one pupusa. I told her that it was fine, I won't order it. Went to let her know that I had ordered 3 of a certain kind, and gave me an attitude and I finally told her that she was a rude employee. She started yelling at me that I can't come into her job and tell her that she's rude, and that she's older than me and I can't be saying that to her. Old, young, tall or short, if you're rude, you are rude. I even tried to buy another one during that time and she refused to sell me another one, and started complaining about how her job is stressful. Again, no excuse for being rude and short tempered, and stress is part of life. Besides that, the pupusas are delicious, but can't see myself going there again. I gave it 1 star just because the service was horrible. I even apologize to another person that was there witnessing the drama lol, and my little daughter who even said before the drama that "this lady seems pretty rude." I read other people's comments, and it seems like it might be the same lady. She's going to run people away, the restaurant lost another customer.

I should have listened to my instincts and walked out as soon as I walked in. The dining area was dark and felt uninviting. The looming images of a a woman amongst the menu made me feel uneasy and I don't understand the purpose of having unprofessional pictures posted in such a large format. The person behind the counter was cold and had no customer service skills. I no longer wanted to order after looking over the limited selection but decided to get a piece of piña colada cake since I had already made it that far. I regretted it after the first bite; the cake was dry and not worth coming back to try anything else. It was just a bad experience over all.

At 11:38, I called Maribel's Bakery to place an order to pick up and a women picked up the phone she was very short when taking my order as we got to what name to put on she didn't hear me at first so I took her off speaker and repeated myself. She was rude saying that it wasn't necessary and hanged up on me so I called back to cancel my order same women picked up causing another argument. So yeah not going there again I get sometime kids or grandkids don't want to work the family business however you should never take out that aggression on people you don't know because your to much of a coward to tell the truth to your family or hiring workers who are always rude to customers. To many times this happened with confirmation that the card mechanic works to get and it's doesn't or how the grandson/granddaughter were rude to my daughter and when it was the grandparents who picked it was a great experience because they were respectful and patient when my son with broken Spanish tried ordering. I will not be order from them anymore!

The people who work there are not very friendly. They don't have very good customer service. Even if their food is good, I rather have good customer service. I don't think I will be supporting this business anymore. The Owner needs to change some attitudes there. Be more friendly and helpful. Thats it for now.
