Very friendly place. I like the sides we had (okra, shrimp mac and cheese, and mashed potato), but the fried chicken had very underwhelming seasoning and felt a bit dry for my liking. They also did not have all the listed meat on the menu. It also said "choice of meat, " but we were told otherwise (although the lady let us chose as an exception).

Amazing experience. Food was amazing 10/10. Very family oriented and accommodating. I will definitely be back again on my next visit. I ordered the pork chop plate and the oxtail plate The gravy was nasty. The seasoning was nasty. The cabbage was nasty. I ordered cornbread they didn’t have any cornbread. Yams was not good mac & cheese taste like Velveeta cheese . Food was not freshly cooked . Warmed up . I was very excited to try the food. But the waste is $63. Gravy taste like it came from a jar . Very disappointing. Did not eat none of the food. All had the same flavor..??♀️ But great customer service.
I really hate to do this but, this is my second time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, customer service was wonderful! I ordered smothered pork chops over rice, Mac and cheese and yams, a side of green beans and potatoes, a wing and leg. The only qualms I have is the chicken leg was bloody! Besides that everything else was sooooo gooood.

This was our 1st time there , our server was Tasha who was Excellent. And the food was fantastic , the only problem we had was it took way to long to get 6 tacos is what we ordered . Also there seem to be alot of people coming from the kitchen that were unprofessional . I guess they closed at 7:00 so we saw the cook storm out of kitchen and lock the front door and said don't take anymore orders ?. Not cool when there is people standing outside the door trying to get in to get there orders that were placed. Not sure if we will go back or recommend to our friends .( 1st impressions are important ) the restaurant was really really clean and had great gossip music playing.Thank you ,

The Resturant is super clean!! It’s a small Resturant and the food is down home cooking. Everything is delicious . When I say delicious The food is absolutely delicious!! It is cooked fresh each day. The staff was pleasant and kind love their food. Tasha is the best. Yes I give it 10/10
