I tried my best to give them a fair chance (4 to be exact) before writing this review!! The food was only good 1/4 times I’ve purchased, the other 3 times the rice and noodles were “VERY BLAND” the friedrice was tasteless and the color of the rice just wasn’t right. The noodles were horrible👎 the pork ribs had me gagging because it didn’t look like any pork that I have ever seen before. it was a big flat folded piece of meat😡 I was scared to eat it💯 they need new cooks back there because Lancaster deserves good Chinese takeout like every other city has now the orange chicken is always good the spicy chicken use to be my go to 💯 but the way it looked last night I definitely was also afraid to eat it smh I guess I have to go to Palmdale or LA for good Chinese takeout

Considering how cold and windy the weather can get in the Antelope Valley, especially this time of year, I felt like having some wonton soup would be the perfect meal for this climate.

My cousin had spoken highly of this place and it was not very far from his place in Lancaster so we figured why not come and try it. As we entered the restaurant, it was quite empty, we were able to order our food quickly then we waited. There is not a lot of seats or tables in here, but I realized that most people who order food do not even sit in and eat here, they take it to-go.

It took a while for the soup to come out. I always assumed they keep a huge vat of it ready in the back but I guess this was not the case here. I constantly had to go up and check if it was ready until it eventually was. The woman working the front counter was even nice enough to give us a free bag of noodles in compensation for the wait, which I appreciated. I give her much credit as shortly after we ordered, it got extremely busy in there. There was people coming in practically nonstop and she was the only person out front dishing out orders. So even though the service was not exceptional, it is entirely understandable and I liked how they even compensated for it and were very respectful about it as well.

The soup itself was not anything amazing, but it was a rather generous portion that left me satisfied. I liked how it came with a lot of shrimp and vegetables in it too, not just wontons and the broth was a good temperature, not too boiling.

They overcharged me a dollar today… they told me the total and I agreed. They kept the receipt and I didn’t think anything of it. Just checked my account and I was overcharged. A dollar or not, you can’t overcharge people just cause you feel like it. I really don’t want to argue with the idiots there over a dollar cause they surely won’t give it back to me. But BEWARE and check your receipt. Make sure they give it to you and it matches what they told you. I can imagine how many people they’re scamming by overcharging them little by little. Go to Panda Express where they won’t overcharge you.
