Food was delicious and waitress was so kind! We got a red sauce wet burrito with rice and beans! It was enormous and the price is just right for the portion size we got! Highly recommend!

I recently visited Pueblo Viejo Restaurant to try their tamales, and unfortunately, I was really disappointed. The tamales were way too wet, with barely any meat or sauce—just a lot of soggy, crumbling masa. The texture was off, and the taste was bland, almost like water. From the presentation to the portioning, it just wasn’t good. If you’re looking for tamales, I wouldn’t recommend getting them from here.

I had a hand in my chicken soup. I think I got food poisoning. I’m headed to a.v hospital. No joke.

Stopped in for lunch, was mildly disappointed. Food was good, but no great. Ordered taco plate (tacos, beans and rice) only got the tacos - but we were pressed for time, so didn't complain. One tortilla instead of two, not huge deal, but not "traditional" and meat was a well flavored but dry. Again, not horrible by any means, would likely stop there for lunch again. It could have been too early, or something.

Above average food and service most of the time. I personally know the owner who always tries his best to make sure the customers are satisfied.
Great value and authentic Salvadoran

It was my first time ordering here in Pueblo Viejo, but I was honestly disappointed, the chicharrón was very hard, like it was old, the cassava the same. The truth is that it was my first time and last time ordering there ? I think I'd better stay with the cantorarito restaurant.

My daughter and I didn't like the pupusas, they have more dough than filling for what you pay for them
