1st the didn’t give me everything i order the left the fish off the plate which i was charged a extra 3 dollars for. i would have to say this is probably the nastiest food i have ever received from them the chicken was fillies with Grease and bag had greens juice filled in it from not properly bagging it. To make matter worse when i called the store to see about them making this right i was told the manager or owner was not there i was done placed on hold and finally hung up on. After calling back i got no answer. i spend 26 dollars and i didn’t even eat it . The picture are form when i 1st opened the plate , all the mess.

I really try to patronize my people and was hesitant about eating here. So, against my better judgment my party and I decided to wait until they opened. (Which was late) I ordered the shrimp and grits with crispy shrimp, it took about 30 minutes to get our order. One taste of the crispy shrimp I had to get out of my chair, back up and look at the dish. The shrimp were absolutely amazing, the flavor and crispiness took me back to Georgia where they fry them in seasoned corn meal not the standard batter. Now I knew I was going to Euphoria when I tasted the grits. The taste was beautiful but Screeeedch, they were cold! How can you ruin such a beautiful dish with cold grits. I mentioned it to the clerk and he just nodded his head yes. After about 30 minutes he still didn’t address the issue. So I went to the counter with my dish and told him my grits were cold. He looked inside snd said I’m sorry ma’am I can’t refund you or exchange your order because you ate one of the shrimp. Really????!!!! how do I know that the grits are cold if I don’t taste them??? “I’m sorry, ma’am , but I can’t give you a refund because you ate off of it “. well, can you at least put them in the microwave or bring me some hot grits “I’m sorry ma’am but I can’t right now. I’m too busy so where is the other guy that was working here somebody definitely was in the back although you can’t see them because I saw the guy when he opened up, he went in the back and never came out so I asked well can I speak to the manager? So my daughter-in-law placed an order because her gumbo fries were too spicy, and she can’t eat spicy food. Before I complained about my grits. She went to the counter and told them that the gumbo fries were too spicy and she couldn’t eat them because she couldn’t eat spicy food . And she also told them that they should note that the gumbo was spicy somewhere on the menu before someone orders, them so she had to end up buying something totally different. They would not compensate her. 45 minutes later still no manager. I went back to the counter and asked if I could speak to the manager “he’s not here“ well what happened to him? I never saw him leave so I said OK that’s it. I’m gonna go on social media. I thought this was gonna be my spot. The food is delicious. I even tasted gumbo fries. I didn’t have a problem with them because I like spicy. The other person in my party didn’t have any complaints about his food. He ordered the fried chicken breakfast he fell in love with the chicken. The food is very good very tasty, but the service sucks and to lose a customer over something so petty as cold grits shows that you care nothing about serving your customers, your just a lazy penny pinching tightwad. When God blesses you with a business you are required to be good servants over it. I cater and if something is not right with my cakes I’m gonna reimburse a patron or make them another one. I want my customers to have a pleasant experience. I spent $75 on breakfast and was gonna buy something to take home, but I always have this problem with black owned businesses. They always act like you’re trying to get over on them. I refuse to spend my money and then be treated like crap. The service sucks!

This is great soul food place. My oxtails were seasoned and tenderrrrr, collards tender great favor, candy yams my goodness, Mac n cheese was on point, cornbread another plus. My food was hott, and my lemonade he did a mix that was on fireeee. If I come back out here. I'm definitely coming back

The food was nasty I just went yesterday mind you im from the south. ATLANTA,GA TO BE EXACT and the yams were over cooked too much all spice and cinnamon , Mac and cheese was salty, fish was salty with a slight fishy taste the only thay was good was the collards, so i order 3 chicken and waffle plate for my kids and the chicken grease was burnt you can taste it in the chicken, waffle 🧇 nasty too much all spice and cinnamon. I give this place 3 for effort the wait time was so long

I try to eat at Randy’s at least once per week. I really enjoy the food choices. It’s like updated Soul Food. I’ve dined in as well as take out.

I really don’t mind the wait. That assures my food is freshly cooked just for me!

Just don't order. It's not good food at all. Waffle was soggy and under cooked. Chicken was very dry and bland. So was the crap n', I mean Mac n' cheese.... save your money.... just make it at home it'll taste better. Mine did!

My son really wanted to try this spot. We've seen it here for a long time and finally made our way in.
SHOULD HAVE COME SOONER! GREAT tasting chicken. Great tasting waffles and syrup, so light and fluffy. Right amount of crunch on the chicken.

Sigh, deep exhale while smh, I rarely drop reviews but man this had to be done. I'm not one to disrespect the culture and bring down an owner of the business but someone has to light a fire under the owner or else this place will continue to collapse. Walk in- there is no one there at the register, your greeted by a short staffed sign please be patient with us. This happened another time too. Look around the TV is off, football fan blowing hot air, look up and you see no vents for air conditioning so im guessing that's why employees aren't present in the front. There's another sign with sloppy writing which says check your food, another sign that says no exchange or refunds. Almost every customer who walked in because they don't do phone orders meal were incorrect. The worker looked as if they just finished from a smoke break eyes low and talking slow. It took damn near an hour for food which was overly cooked fried chicken, smaller than a pinky legs, Mac n cheese tasted like it was made in a greyhound public restroom, the rice was hard felt like you were eating plastic while the cornbread was the size of a ping pong ball overly wrapped and broke apart on first pick up. The experience took long, too hot for customers, so I definitely feel for the employess but even then who's at fault? Food is absolutely not worth the price, if im paying that much for the food then allow me to pay over the phone so im not waiting or have to leave and come back and its still not finished. Owner has a few choices either go back to the drawing board and bring back the fire and excitement from when they first opened by renovating the place to provide air for employees and customers or find a new location, clean your image offer exchanges without employees being rude pointing to the no exchange refund sign, or switch up the menu. They just need cooks who care, better management or provide employees something to build morale. This place seems like its slowly dying, there's no promotion, no word of mouth reason to go here, they're just there and due to low competition maybe a reason why they still exist because its not for the quality of food.
