My girlfriend and I went to get sushi at Sato for the first time and we had a terrible waitress who couldn’t recommend me food because she’s not a sushi person and I had to beg for a good or popular recommendation. She still had no good recommendation. She was quite overall so I just ordered a roll I didn’t know I would like. Overall we canceled the entire order because we didn’t feel comfortable with ordering and we got the impression it wouldn’t be that good since she had not liked sushi that much. There wasn’t any other option for another waitress.

Drove 40+ mins for terrible sushi and service. Walked in at 7:50 on a Saturday, ordered at around 8:05 and didn’t see or appetizer till around 8:40 all the while watching a table that had showed up after us, order after us, and with more people get their food, eat, and pay and leave all in the time it took to get our first sushi roll. We ordered 3 deep fried rolls and 1 normal roll……. The deep fried rolls were colder than the normal roll. Also we were missing a role. The rolls didn’t taste like anything. I thought I had caught covid and my tastebuds were shot. Our waitress was extremely rude. She never checked in on us even when we were waiting 30+ mins for the appetizer. It was like she was avoiding us the whole time we were there. And when we finally got the chance to ask her about our missing roll she walked away and never came back to tell us what was going on with it. After waiting another 10 mins we just decided it wasn’t worth it anymore and got up to pay. Would not recommend going here there’s plenty of other sushi places in the AV that at least at like they care.

I always have enjoyed sato but very rare I do go out to eat. For my new years eve I knew I wanted sushi rolls the waitress was super nice. The lobster Dynamite roll is my go to fave and baked mussels, the plum wine was also good is what I had sitting in the restaurant, after my meal I did order some things to take home, the only thing is I wished there was more vegetables in the mix tempura, don't get me wrong it was good just 6 or 7 pieces of mix tempura was a little pricey for that much..

First time here at Sato Sushi .. I came because my friend referred me and it was such a great experience! Jason, our sushi chef, and Joshua, the owner, were both awesome. The vibes are perfect, super chill, and they always made sure we were doing well. Let’s not forget the food !! absolutely amazing!! Definitely coming back. 🍣

Terrible experience, the service was so slow that it took 40 min to get my order that’s when it wasn’t that busy. The food was not that good compared to other ones I’ve tried, totally wasn’t worth the wait, I should’ve left at the 30 min mark. Not coming again
