Take out they really read when you put in the details of what you want to change in the comb meal. The was hot still and we live 30 minutes away. The service is wonderful. The love and care they put into the food brings a wonderful taste. When you walk inside the ambiance is good as well background noise a musical soundtrack that is lovely . Would add pictures but that food was gone the moment we opened it. I had chicken and waffles the chicken was tasty with lots of flavor. The waffles were fluffily big I was full. My partner enjoyed his meal he had Mac n cheese greens and chicken with a cornbread muffin. Thank you the four times we had this place one by myself second in the car parking lot third after I had our child and fourth time ordered on here picked it up and ate at home.

When this spot first opened we went twice in a row the food was awesome, since then they have fell off horribly. First off the meat, be it Fish , Chicken ext.. taste as if they are all fried in the exact same month old grease. The sides are old clearly not fresh by no means. We visited a few months ago and before mentioning the food they will make you pay in advance which is no problem but after tasting the food I feel it is so they have your money already. Now I thought that time was a one off. Went back yesterday same deal, I know for a fact that food was days old. The Macaroni was so disgusting I stopped mid chew and threw it out. It had a taste if a dirty metal pot. So disappointing. The fish was not cooked and tasted like chicken grease. Listen I am very open minded and big on supporting Black business and I say this because writing a review is a big deal for me. Tag in her attitude. Stop acting like they label you. Please do better or shut down before someone gets sick.

I ordered a bowl of chicken a dumplings. It must have been the last in the pot because it was broken up tiny bits of dumplings and chicken. The flavor was too salty. They should have just said we are all out; why would you allow a customer to buy bits and pieces of something. Horrible and I'll never go back.

This was the worst soul food in my life the greens had so much vinegar and they weren't cooked long enough the potatoes salad was nasty the ribs was old in nothing but fat on them Like they cooked the day before and just warmed them up in the microwave

Food is worst. It tasted spoiled and raw but they still cooked it served. I complained but they said that they will fry it again. If i can give negative review i will. Even they do it, its the chicken itself is spoiled. Never recommend to anybody.

Terrible customer service rude staff waited over 30 min for my plate and it still wasn't ready. Canceled my order. If I wanted to get treated like crap and I wait 45 min to eat I'll just go home and cook for my mean ass kids

If i can give this place a negative score i would. Me and my wife wanted to try something new. Saw this place while driving by. I don't think this place believes in AC first of all. We did a order of food customer service wasn't great was told about 15min before food came out. Waited about a hour for it. My wife had the smothered chicken and rice and i had the meatloaf. My wife's chicken tasted like fish and my meatloaf tasted over seasoned was not able to enjoy it. I did not think you could ever over season meatloaf thought it was impossible but this place proved me wrong. For our drinks we had the Slushies my wife had the tropical and i had the lime. I like sugar in my drinks but gooooooooooootttttt damn that was pure sugar was able to get passed a sip was undrinkable. My wife was little better but still hella packed with sugar. 10/10 would not recommend this place.

The worst food I have ever had! First, it's expensive. Second, the spices they use have no correlation to nay soul food I have ever had. Third, the fried chicken was like rubber and tasteless other than the spices that were horrible. Fourth, the green beans were nasty and the sweet potatoes had no flavor, again, other than the horrible spice combo they had. Fifth, the corn muffin was tasteless as well, didn't find any corn in it. Sixth, the service was abominable, It took 35 minutes to get our food, if you could call it that. I only wish I could give this place negative stars. I love soul food but, this place has no soul and it's obvious that everything is either frozen or canned. Nothing is fresh like soul food should be. My wife and I had to walk out of there having thrown everything away.

Food I ordered was the catfish meal it came with yams and Mac n cheese. Yams tasted like potatoes there wasn't much going on the Mac tasted like pasta the catfish was okay after eating I felt like my body was gonna shut down lol . It was hot as hell in there when I entered they said hi and started gossiping in front of me before asking if I'm ready to order I was standing there for a good 5 minutes ready to order and they were standing in front of me as well I only ever go to local places I don't do chains or anything like that but I wouldn't go back here again

The meatloaf was turkey meatloaf which should have been Stated on the menu, secondly the Mac and cheese was old it was stuck together and gummy And coldTo the touch, Thirdly the greens were as if they came out of the can. I Ordered the Turkey chops meal with collards and Mac n cheese. When I first arrived to pick up my order, there was another female who walked in and walked right past me and went behind the counter and didn't say hello or asked if I needed assistance. Her attitude wasn't very friendly. But another lady came From back and helped. She was very nice.The chops were very good and well seasoned. The greens could have been a little tender but it was tasty. The Mac n cheese was not good. It was dry and needed more cheese.

Happened upon this place while driving to go to a different restaurant and have some drinks. We decided to pop in and see what it was hitting for. The girls at the register were very nice and helpful and the prices were fair. The restaurant is very clean which is also important. Now, to the food. We ordered the 8 jumbo shrimp dinner and the 10 piece wings. The only critique I have is that the shrimp were not jumbo but they sure were good! The food was very very fresh which is always a plus. As you can see in the picture we threw down right away, wasting no time; we had to be patient with the wings because of how hot and fresh they were. The wings were amazing, very saucy and flavorful. The shrimp also had great flavor. We really enjoyed the sides too. They also have a red slushy drink that was FIRE

I really wanted to like this place it's clean, staff is friendly and black owned! I just tried it for the frist time the fried pork chops were really tastey but too salty! Tried it again food to salty! I really don't understand why cooks thinks that soul food is supposed to be salty. The side protions doesn't match up with the price as an another viewer stated it's less than a 1/3 of a cup. I wii noot return.

The mac n cheese had too much black pepper. And let's not talk about the peach cobbler....too much cinnamon/nutmeg. The red beans and rice? I threw them away.
