I stop into this Subway on the Antelope Valley College campus about four times a week. As a professor on campus who tries to follow a healthy diet, I really appreciate having this option so close by. The service is consistently excellent, the staff always treats me with kindness, respect, and positivity, and I make sure to do the same in return.
The food is always fresh and fantastic, and they prepare my sandwich quickly and with care. The team members here create a welcoming and uplifting environment, which makes each visit an enjoyable experience. I’m genuinely thankful for their hard work and the convenience this location provides for both myself and my students.
If I could add one wish, it would be for a larger Subway space. This spot is so popular that the line can get a little long during peak lunch hours. I admire how quickly the staff works to keep things moving, but I also know they have their hands full! Still, even when I’m waiting, I know it’ll be worth it.
Overall, I want to commend the hardworking young people, many of them students, who keep this Subway running smoothly. Their effort and attitude do not go unnoticed. I’m very grateful to have them here on campus.

Usually pretty good experience here, though sometimes they forget to add things if it's a mobile / online order. To those of you complaining about being late to class because of the long lines, that is literally on you. Come earlier as wait times are usually fairly long. It's a small location INSIDE A BUSY CAMPUS, I really do not know what to tell you other than I know which of you have worked service industry and which ones have not. They are providing a service and it can be busy sometimes and they are often short staffed, so be kind for once. There ARE other locations to go to, so those of you acting some kind of way over the wait times y'all should probably go there instead. :)
And to those of you actually reading these reviews and getting a bad taste in your mouth over them, actually visit the place and decide for yourself. I have had very few bad experiences here, and I've been here MANY times over the course of several years.

Dear [Manager/Subway Corporate],
I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the customer service experience at the Subway located inside AV College. If it were possible to give no stars, I would, due to the consistently poor treatment we have received from the staff.
On Wednesday, July 16th, I visited the café with eight of my participants, all of whom have disabilities. We sat at tables that were noticeably dirty, so I politely asked a staff member for a single napkin to wipe the surface. She refused, stating that napkins are only given to paying customers. I explained the tables were unsanitary and again requested just one, or alternatively, a paper towel from the dispenser near the sink. She refused both requests in an unkind manner. It was disheartening to be treated so dismissively over such a small, reasonable request.
The following day, Thursday, July 17th, we returned to the café, as it is one of the cooler spots on campus. A co-worker had placed a mobile order for a sandwich. When he approached the counter at 12:00 p.m. to ask if it could be prepared—while the store was completely empty—he was told by the same staff members that he would need to wait 25 minutes. Despite there being no line or other customers, they refused to make the sandwich sooner. After walking away, we observed the employees talking among themselves and looking at our group while continuing to delay the order.
This type of behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. My team and I are respectful, kind, and easygoing individuals, and we were shocked by the hostility and lack of basic courtesy. It is especially troubling given that we were accompanied by individuals with disabilities who deserve to be treated with dignity.
I strongly urge Subway management to re-train the entire staff at this location—including the shift manager—on proper customer service and disability awareness. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to see meaningful improvements moving forward.

I went in on Thursday the 31st for a sandwich and the guy wearing the astronauts helmet was so rude. He made the whole experience unpleasant.

Why is this Subway franchise allowed to operate the way they do on a publicly-funded college campus in the Antelope Valley where they charge prices like they're in Beverly Hills? Why are they raising prices way faster than students can afford? These are real questions, because the way a private franchisee is allowed to tap into student funds and resources, get privileged contracts for campus events, and fail to offer meals at prices students (and many staff) can afford, is unacceptable. The (largely) student workers who run operations are doing just fine, and simply doing their jobs, but they deserve better too. The franchisee even took away their option to receive tips, while raising prices, effectively giving their employees potential tips to themselves.AVC: Do not renew this business' contract, they have failed to uphold our values as a college.

Just go to another subway they don’t know what they’re doing. They ran out of food and the manager came out and was giving everyone an attitude saying they’re closed bad customer

This was always my go to spot at the college. Today however my online order didn't come out on time, that's fine I just waited longer. When I came back 20 minutes later to pick it up. The manager was complaing that he doesn't like making my order and that next time I order he is going to change my choice of bread to flat bread. Mind you he is yelling this at me infront of everyone else in the lobby. I am severely disappointed that a manager who should know better. Is telling me that he is going to alter it the next time I order. I would avoid this place at all costs, the manager thinks that because they are the manager that they can do whatever they want.
no free refills always long line late to class because I was waiting for my food.
