I used to drive an hour away to just go to the subway because the service is great now I'm starting to wonder who owns this place. The new staff that they have hired that work there have been trained to tell people that you have to pay 70 cents for each condiment to the side if you don't want it on top. I'm a businesswoman so I do a lot of traveling. I stopped coming to this location because the area is pretty rough. I started coming back to this location after I started working even more and didn't have enough time to cook at home. Upon arrival of visiting this location I was told that I had to pay $0.70 for the condiments that come on my sandwich to have them put in a container. If I'm not mistaken if I'm paying for the sandwich why can't I have my condiments to the side like I usually have them. To pay 70 cents for condiments to the side is redundant I will be contacting their corporate office to find out more on why this is an issue and there's never management available. From here on out I will never be visiting this location to eat again.
excellent sandwiches
Staff were VERY rude. The girls there were more worried about the guy getting into a SUV than they were working. While taking my order and asking what vegetables I wanted it seemed like it was a bother, also there were severely unripe tomatoes and I kindly asked if I could get the ripped ones, which mind you were in the same container as the unripe ones. Then it was proceeded to announce to the cashier that I got ripe tomatoes.
To cashier ‘ Turkey, bacon, avocado wrap with ripe tomatoes.’
So when I got to the cashier I asked the cashier if ripe tomatoes were extra.
She responded, ‘No I don’t think so’
My point was so the girl who ‘helped’ us would hear me asked that to know when she said it under her breath I heard. Not sure what her point she was trying to make.
As we walked out my 18 year old daughter said,
‘They were so rude’.
Embarrassing.

Absolutely horrible experience. I asked for a chicken dipper and requested for onions to be put on it. Every Subway I go to, even at this one, had done it for me previously.
The lady serving me told me she's "NOT ALLOWED" to put a few slices of onion in my dipper? Are you serious? This is how you treat your hungry customers at lunch hour? Over onions?
Do better. Lost my business permanently.

I recently attempted to use the SUBWAY app to take advantage of the $6.99 foot-long promotion. As soon as I opened the app, this deal was the first thing I saw, so I clicked on it, selected a participating store, and added my order. When I entered the coupon, however, I was met with a message saying, “Deals and offers are currently not available”—even though this was a participating location.
Disappointed, I decided to go to the store and see if they could honor the promotion in person. From the moment I walked in, things didn’t improve. I wasn’t greeted, and I felt like I was more of an inconvenience than a customer. After finally getting the attention of an employee, I explained the issue with the app and asked if they could honor the promotion in-store, given the system malfunction. I was told, “No, you have to do it online.”
It’s frustrating that the app promotes a deal prominently but fails to support the purchase process, and that there’s no backup plan in-store when customers encounter tech issues. A smoother, more customer-friendly approach would go a long way—whether that’s ensuring the app works consistently or training staff to handle these issues in a way that leaves customers feeling valued.

The product is good but the service is terrible. Yesterday afternoon I spent 25 minutes in line waiting to be served. I decided to leave the place. There was a girl, Elizabeth, but the service took too long. I don't think I'll ever return to this place.

The establishment looks nice and the time I went there was during the night shift when it comes to the food I’m very disappointed ordering a pretzel from them. That salted basically was just a lumper bread with no real salt on it at all and very dry. also, the sandwich I ordered, I wanted extra extra extra black olives and they barely gave me enough to line up to the length of my finger for the entire foot-long sub when I asked to get a little more I was immediately rejected that customer service was not good at all maybe they’re just doing their job but the feeling and attitude I got from them was somebody who just wanted to get the night over with and not deal with anyone, I will not be returning. This has to be the worst subway experience I’ve ever had. I do not recommend at least for the nighttime.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps or stairs to hinder somebody with a wheelchair here. the door is not automatic

Bought the turkey sandwich. Less than an hour later, my stomach started bubbling, gas, and then I barely made it to a toilet. I don’t think I have to tell you why. I guess it’s partly my fault, as it did cross my mind, that the veggies did not look as “fresh”, as they could have, but not to the point where I thought the sandwich would cause a reaction. Moral of the story is. Trust your gut instinct. Also, I detected a bit of an attitude from the girl making the sandwich, but then her attitude changed, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I won’t go back to the “K” Street store.
