very disappointed that the last few times i’ve come here, the service has not been very friendly. the last straw is that i was charged a $2 extra fee when i paid even though i wasn’t even using a card… lol i had to use zelle as i didn’t have my card on me and when asking them about it they just said i had to do it. not sure why id be charged a card fee when i didn’t even use one but ok. i also requested for four separate checks at the beginning of the service last time i came w friends & got an attitude when it came to pay and they brought one check & i said that i had asked for 4 separate ones.. the cleanliness is another issue in itself butttt i dont see myself returning here which is a shame as i used to really like it. :/

We went in today. Terrible service. Food was ok, nothing too special. We weren’t aware that they don’t accept TAP there, and we didn’t bring our wallets with us. When it was time to pay, they said they don’t accept TAP, ONLY CASH or PHYSICAL CARD. They have a $2 card fee, most likely to avoid taxes at the end of the year, like most typical small businesses. They have cooks who don’t speak a word of english, most likely under the table. The register lady told us we can zelle them, but they would charge us that $2 fee, even though there was no SQUARE swiping. They also charged us the california tax listed on the receipt in the picture. I asked the lady to confirm if we’re paying taxes through zelle & a card fee even though zelle has no charges to receive money. She seriously looked at us and said “yes” in a very affirmative way. So we zelled the total with the $2 fee to the number they listed on the yellow paper & didn’t argue. We chose not to tip because we considered the tax and the $2 charge would cover it. This is a fishy business. Dirty interior, nasty water, frozen food and plates and utensils just anywhere. Dirty restaurant & a business running suspicious activities (cash only, physical card only, zelle with taxes & $2 card fee, employees who can’t speak english except the waitresses and register). Will not come back ever again.

Extremely disappointing experience. My fiancé and I visited this restaurant and had a very unpleasant experience with both the service and the owner. Our table had only five small containers of vanilla flavor for coffee. When I asked for more, I was told three separate times that someone would bring them, but no one ever did. My fiancé finally went to ask by the cashier, and instead of helping, they told him to go get some from other tables. Another customer overheard and kindly brought us some, which says a lot about the customers — but not the staff. To make matters worse, when my fiancé went to pay, the owner said, “What, you don’t want to wash dishes?” — completely unprofessional and insulting. We left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service, because no one deserves to be treated that way.

The service is always terrible. I've visited about 4 different times and every time we come, the service is trash. They always rush you to order and then forget about you at your table. I don't want to have to wave someone over that many times for a refill or some napkins. On top of that, I tried to order to go because I didn't want to deal with their service. The young girl in the front (receipt says it's Viviana) asked for my order but was busy with other transactions on the register and wasn't fully paying attention when taking my order. Why bother taking it if you're busy and not ready? I understand they're busy and I didn't order ahead of time so I was willing to wait for my order to be taken. But she's not the only rude waitress. My family and I encountered multiple staff that didn't give good service.
