Just go... we'll talk about it at the cookout👀
I came on 6/8/25 and the milk that was giving to us was expired from 5/11/2025.
Food we order was wrong or items missing. I order avocado on the side they charge me $4 for 2 small pieces.
So disappointed about this place.
I ask for salsa never arrived.
the owner was rude and still had the audacity to ask for a tip. If you are the owner why are you asking for tips? Doesn’t matter what position you work why beg for a tip? Needless to say she got a $0 tip for being rude and disrespectful.
Delicious food, friendly staff, cozy place.
100 % recommend the place.
Have to day their rice tastes like abuelita homemade! Delicious! Ordered the green chilaquiles and we're awesome
Service was rude.

The food and service was great. Atmosphere was pleasant and clean. Plus you get to support a small business. Highly recommend.

The food at this place is fantastic - you absolutely have to try the chilaquiles! They consistently nail these traditional dishes and we've returned multiple times just for the cooking.
Unfortunately, the service doesn't match the quality of the food. Despite giving them several chances, we've consistently experienced inattentive service from a tired-seeming young server who often forgets items, and encountered unfriendly attitudes from the proprietress. What's particularly uncomfortable is the aggressive expectation for tips, including visible disappointment when gratuity isn't provided, despite the subpar service.
Bottom line: Come for the excellent authentic dishes, but be prepared for service that needs improvement.
Parking: Plenty of parking due to being in an isolated shopping center.

I brought my wife here for her birthday to eat breakfast, but left due to the rudeness of the owner i brought her birthday Starbucks in not thinking about the issue of outside drinks, the owner immediately stated no outside food or drinks, so jokingly said it's my wife's birthday coffee, but instead of the owner saying we still can't bring it in which wouldn't be a problem for us, she condescendingly said we'll that's why we have a sign and turned her back on us and walked off which I feel is not very welcoming at all, when i tried to speak with saying how her rudeness was not professional she just blew me off, being the owner she must not care about new potential business, what a shame we may have been lifetime customers

Ordered menudo no flavor, pieces of meat hard and soft, handmade tortillas not well cooked and too overpriced. First and last time.

If you go to Lancaster Ca. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this authentic Mexican restaurant. Meals prepared for the hands of Doña Silvia, native of Guadalajara, every meal tastes like home, the champurrado is a must, it feels like a warm hug to your heart. The agua fresca was absolute delicious we had the cucumber and lime. Thank you for taking us back in time 💕

Food is good. A little bit overpriced but customer service lacks. Server Viviana was rude and condescending with us. When we asked what type of drinks they offered she dropped the menu on the table and said it’s on the menu, I ordered a coke and told my mom I would share with her she blurred out you cannot share and walked off. Very rude.

Excellent food, friendly host, food may take long to get when busy but worth the wait for fresh hot food. Their Menudo on the weekends is awesome and their corn tortillas are homemade.
