Started going there with my Friends. It is one of our Birthday Celebration Meet-ups. The food is great, with attention to detail. 4 out of the 5 times I've been the service has been excellent. The last visit, middle of the week, for lunch for some reason there was only (1) server, who also had to do bar which, slowed things down quite a bit, but he did great under the circumstances. Other than that one experience, I highly recommend this place.Parking: Open parking in a strip mall. So far no issues finding a place to park.

This has been one of my favorite places to eat for 2 years with a great vibe. Today the music was screaming punk rock enough to give you a headache. Almost left it was so obnoxious. Asked the waiter if there was any other music option and he said no he couldn’t change it.

I have been here multiple time and the only complain was the wait time for food. Other than that amazing. But today I had a very horrible experience with a blonde host. She need to get more training on how to treat people. We went didn’t greet us, made limited eye contact. Had a horrible face like we were asking to eat for free. I had for a table and she said we have too many reservations. The place was empty the pic I posted…She said the bar can help you, I was with my mom that was not able to go up due to her leg and she just said well you can seat on the lounge. Didn’t take us there or anything I had to grab the menu. She said the bar can help you. We went and there was no table to eat…we went back she had a horrible attitude. A guy tried to help but it was too late. When he was trying to help she was just rolling her eyes. The manager was not there. I loved this place but after this experience no thanks! To be honest I was afraid that she was going to put something in our food and we left. She just ruin my experience. He attitude needs to improve if she wants to work in the business or problem solve. I understand they need reservation but when the place is sooo empty it doesn’t make here and again her attitude and facial expression was horrible

My husband and I love coming to this spot on occasions. We’re always looking forward in returning. It’s cute and cozy with a wonderful ambiance.Very clean. Nicely designed and decorated. It has a very relaxing feel to this spot, a place to have a bite, unwind and have a drink.Theres even a nice area to lounge. We been here for lunch and dinner several times and on different days/times and we never had a bad experience. Everything is delicious and fresh. My husband loves the gourmet burgers personally, I myself love the appetizers and drinks. If you’re looking for a spot without all that nonsense noise, this is a nice hidden spot that you will enjoy and come back.

Dinner was delicious. I opted for the Branzino on the Seasonal menu and it was outstanding. We are never disappointed with our service or our meal. Drinks are spectacular. This is one of our go-to places on a rotating basis with a couple of other places.

Excellent little restaurant. Our waiter was incredible! Food was terrific. Cute little place and was very busy.

I was there last night with my wife and four of my good friends, we had a really bad experience by the female Bartender working last night 2/24 around 7:30pm. She refused to let us move a single barstool so we can all sit together even though there was plenty of space at the bar. She really needs to learn how to communicate in a professional manner towards customers. We left very disappointed considering we were highly recommended by thief & barrel.

I've been criticized for my past reviews of restaurants and have made to feel as though my reviews are meant to sink places. When in fact my reviews have been passionate responses to experiences that have either met, exceeded my expectations or have simply let me down. The Third place seemed to offer an experience that would I would appreciate and respect. So I made a 6:30 reservation for my wife and I. The Third place is located on what I thought was a shout down strip mall but I was happy to see that it was alive and kicking. Walking onto the restaurant automatically transports you to another place, a good place. The music was a bit loud for my taste but not overwhelmingly loud like many of the other places. We were seated quickly next to some windows and we were prepared for the experience. The beer selection was a bit slim for my taste, so I stuck with a modelo and a shot of Mezcal. Both were a very nice beginning. We ordered the roasted beet salad and the mussels as appetizers and we moved on to the seasonal pasta and the Brie burger. Waiting for our appetizers I wanted to familiarize myself with the past reviews that made this place a 4.5 star place. I don't read 5 star reviews or one star reviews because they simple lack truth and depth. Most of the reviews revealed more about the reviewers than about the restaurant. Playground complaints without a lot of substance! Our beet salad arrived relatively quickly as did our mussels. The beet salad was a bit dry, it needed a different kind of cheese and or dressing to add a touch diversity to the overall flavor but we did eat ALL of it. The mussels were nicely cooked and the broth was perfect as a soup but I ran out of bread. My wife's pasta arrived and it was gnocchi with a sauce with nuts, it was good but a bit on the salty side. Not a wow dish experience but good. Our waiter mentioned to me a mistake on his part regarding my burger and said that my burger would be taken care of by him. As a peace offering he dropped off a small plate with potato wedges that looked as bad as they tasted. Dry, over cooked and unappealing. My burger finally arrived with a lot of potential, so I took a bite and it was good, really good but not great. It needed something, a kick, onions a spicy aioli, pickles? Having had many burgers in the sister city of LA you just can't do an okay burger, you need something memorable. We decided to try the Tres Leches Banana desert just to make it a complete experience. I have to say that the desert was pretty darn great! I'm not sure if I will go back to The Third Place or even recommend it. This place definitely has a lot of room for improvements, unlike other restaurants that I've reviewed that started off with 4 or 5 stars that fell down to 2 stars. The Third Place offered us an experience that was better than most but definitely not unique. Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews or the 1 star reviews. The truth is somewhere between 2nd place and Third Place. I do wish The third Place all the best and look forward to them learning from their mistakes and near misses. Because there is always room for improvement.

My wife and I had a reservation for 7:30pm and we literally arrived at 7:35pm. We were told once we got there that the community table was only table they'd give us. When asked if we could wait to sit at a regular table, the hostess told us we'd have to wait 90 minutes. So, we sat at the community table. In the time we were there, within 20 minutes three tables left and the hostess proceeded to seat the subsequent reservations at those open tables instead of politely moving us from the community table in the bar to an actual table.

This is an amazing spot!! Food, wine, drinks were so good!! We're from Ridgecrest and we could only wish we had a spot like this! Yum! Mushroom risotto, bolognese, chocolate mousse. Wines good, specialty cocktails, all really great!

I ordered the shishito peppers and the brussel sprout salad and to be honest it was mid at best. The mayo dipping sauce that the peppers were served with was a hard pass and my salad had so much dressing the Brussels were soggy. It allegedly has other toppings on the salad but it left much to be desired. Flavors weren't bad but it was so overpowered by the vinaigrette.

Absolute best burger we've had in a long time! The margarita is to die for and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back.
