The last time I went to this bar in 2016 one of the security guards or bouncers were really rude when I was leaving the bar, and by that I mean that ignorant person made me throw away my "soda" not "alcohol"!! That was really unprofessional in his part. Just hire people that really have a energetic attitude. Well just by reading some of the reviews, I see it's been getting worst ??‍♂️??‍♂️

Still has the ghost town, fire pit, and outbuildings from the days of The Trap but the decor is less western and the staff and crowd are much younger than our I recall. Lively place with open mic on a Tuesday. Prices are a bit steeper under the new ownership than they used to be. The manager bought me a shot and toasted me.Bartenders don't drink on the job, at least not openly. Definitely an improvement from what it used to be except for the prices.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting The King nightclub, and it was an experience I won't soon forget - but for all the wrong reasons. From the moment I stepped inside, I was met with an overwhelming sense of disappointment that permeated every aspect of my night.First and foremost, the atmosphere was lackluster and uninspiring. The dim lighting, tacky décor, and worn-out furniture gave the impression of a place that had seen better days. The overall ambiance was far from what you'd expect from a nightclub that claims to be a premier destination for a night out on the town. The music selection was another sore point. Instead of energetic beats that would get the crowd moving, the DJ seemed to be stuck in a time warp, playing outdated tracks that had long lost their appeal. The dance floor, consequently, was nearly empty, and those who attempted to dance appeared more bored than entertained. The staff's attitude was equally disappointing. The bartenders were slow and disinterested, making it a chore to get a drink. The bouncers, on the other hand, were unnecessarily rude and aggressive, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere that deterred patrons from enjoying themselves.Let's talk about the drinks - overpriced and underwhelming. The cocktails lacked creativity and tasted like watered-down versions of their advertised ingredients. It felt like the management was cutting corners at the expense of the customers' enjoyment. To add insult to injury, the restroom facilities were in a deplorable state. It was as if they hadn't been cleaned or maintained in weeks, and the unpleasant odor was a testament to the lack of hygiene standards upheld by the establishment. In summary, my experience at The King nightclub was a regrettable one. It's clear that the management has neglected the upkeep of the venue and, more importantly, the satisfaction of their customers. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a memorable night out to steer clear of this establishment. There are plenty of other options in town that are far more deserving of your time, money, and energy.

The King Nightclub: A Shocking Display of Elderly Abuse and CrueltyMy recent experience at The King nightclub left me deeply disturbed and horrified by the blatant elderly abuse and cruelty that was on full display. It is with a heavy heart that I share this review, hoping that it serves as a warning to others who might consider patronizing this establishment, especially if you or your loved ones are seniors or have disabilities.Upon entering The King, I witnessed firsthand the shocking mistreatment of senior citizens, many of whom were there to enjoy a night out. The staff, particularly a tall Caucasian man with big earrings, displayed a shocking lack of empathy and humanity. Instead of offering assistance or understanding to those with disabilities, this individual seemed to revel in asserting his dominance through intimidation and physical aggression. The stories I heard from others who had experienced abuse at the hands of this man were heart-wrenching. It is beyond comprehension that an establishment that is supposed to be a place of entertainment could harbor such cruelty towards the elderly and vulnerable members of our community. It is not only deeply saddening but also deeply alarming that this kind of behavior is allowed to persist. The thought that individuals, particularly those with disabilities or elderly individuals, could be subjected to such abuse while trying to enjoy a night out is utterly reprehensible. It speaks volumes about the lack of decency and compassion within The King nightclub's management and staff. In light of these disturbing incidents, I urge everyone to be aware and cautious. It is our responsibility as a community to ensure the safety and well-being of our elderly and disabled loved ones. I sincerely hope that legal action is taken to address these abuses, and that the patrons of The King are protected from further harm. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have suffered as a result of these despicable actions.

I’ve been there before a few times, service is ok, the place is usually dead, I didn’t mind it because they used to serve decent drinks for the price. I went there recently and I was shocked when I saw the bar tender serving our shots, she literally used the bottom line of a plastic cup as measurement, which is 1oz, i told the bartender that was not a regular shot, after arguing bartender measured the shot on regular 2 oz shot glasses and it didn’t even fill it halfway, she then proceeded to fill the rest, the staff had a bad vibe the rest of the night. I paid $49 for 3 barely 2 oz shots.

The King Nightclub: A Shameful Display of Discrimination and ExploitationI recently had the misfortune of visiting The King nightclub, an establishment that left me utterly appalled and deeply disturbed by its discriminatory practices and exploitation of the vulnerable in our community. From the moment I entered, it was painfully obvious that this club had no place for people of color, making me question the morals and ethics of its management. It quickly became apparent that The King nightclub was not just a space for entertainment but a breeding ground for racism and prejudice. People of color were met with disdainful glares and hostile treatment, highlighting an abhorrent culture of exclusion that has no place in the 21st century. It was a stark reminder that bigotry still thrives in some corners of our society, even in supposedly progressive urban areas.Additionally, the club's exploitative tactics towards the less fortunate were utterly shameful. The management seemed to prey on the vulnerabilities of the poor community, forcing patrons to consume alcohol or face eviction from the premises. This predatory behavior not only endangers the well-being of individuals struggling with alcohol-related issues but also showcases a complete lack of empathy and compassion from the club's owners and staff.Furthermore, the club's coercive approach towards non-drinkers is a clear violation of basic human rights. No one should be compelled to consume alcohol against their will, and the fact that The King nightclub engages in such despicable practices speaks volumes about its utter disregard for the dignity of its patrons. In a time where inclusivity and acceptance should be at the forefront of our society, The King nightclub stands as a shameful reminder of the work that still needs to be done to eradicate discrimination and exploitation. I strongly urge anyone with a conscience to boycott this establishment and send a clear message that such behavior will not be tolerated in our community. There are countless other venues that embrace diversity and treat their patrons with respect, and those are the places deserving of our time, money, and support.
