This kind of place is fine depending on how the staff run it. I do want to say though sadly most of my experience has been with the night staff and it’s been horrific so much so that I’m actually making a review about it now if you try calling them to confirm that they’re open and have the donuts or food that you want, 24 hours they will simply pick up the phone and hang it up so they ignore calls. And even though they’re open 24 hours, they don’t serve 24 hours. So you’re lucky if they have what you want at the time you go in assuming they’ll even serve it to you because from what I understand, they won’t make anything that isn’t already made so no sandwiches no bagels nothing but whatever donuts they have there at that moment and they don’t seem to make donuts until later in the morning like around 4 to 5 if you’re lucky. Have to say that when it comes to the employees it’s pretty unnerving to have the employees scowl at you such as if you’re bothering them by coming in it’s very disappointing. I used to go here quite a bit during the day but coming here at a different time has completely ruined my experience. Makes me really appreciate when a place is run by good staff.

The most perfect place on earth. The donuts are unique and delicious, the sandwiches and tortas amazing, the shakes are made with real ingredients... and on and on. This place is the Ideal restaurant to go to for lunch, and it's all for a very fair price!!
I did not rate the food because I did not order anything. I stood in the lobby awaiting to order for 7 minutes and was not acknowledged so I left.

Went back in February while visiting California and specifically old places with my parents (mainly my dad) that we used to go and after not living in Lancaster or in California for almost 20 years the donuts were as good as I remembered and my wife and in-laws enjoyed them too.??

Carrot muffin was hard maybe 3 days old, brownie was not like any brownie I ever tasted and cinnamon rolls was day old. Will not visit them again.
Only donut place I got to. My favorite is the cake donuts they are always fresh and have a amazing flavor

Apparently, Winchel's has the only bathroom accessible to the general public after 1030 pm. I was so appreciative, I bought a dozen donuts.

They do not speak very good English and when I explained I wanted a Mango drink something like a freeze the lady pointed to the. Pictures on the door which was hard to see as the picture was more noticeable from the outside, the drink was horrible! Sign said must have receipt and item for a refund which I did not get back! I left the 2 drinks on the counter and walked out I will not be going back! Horrible customer service!!!

Donut selection is slim. Not too many options to choose from giving its a donut place, I would expect more variety.
This is not the place to get a dozen donuts since you will be forced to pick several 3 of the same kind to make it a dozen.
