Don’t preorder a cake! Everytime we order a cake we get a stale hard nasty one! They must pre make it too soon or something. One time a long hair was embedded in the cake we got grossed out just threw the entire thing away!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Baskin Robbins on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, at 5 PM. One of the employees (Dan) was extremely rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. Instead of assisting us, he stood off to the side doing absolutely nothing while his coworker (who was clearly busy with an online order) had to ask him to help us. His attitude was unwelcoming, and his lack of effort made it clear he had no interest in providing even the most basic level of customer service.
If you’re looking for ice cream and expect decent service, I’d recommend avoiding this location on Sunday evenings.

I usually order cakes from the manteca locations but decided to order from lathrop since I'd be slightly closer. The cake was fine just as I had ordered but the main issue was finding a long hair at the bottom of the cake. I had ordered a cookies and cream ice cream cake and after cutting half of the cake right in the middle there was a small amount of chocolate and when I used a spoon to make sure that it was chocolate the spoon pulled out the long piece of hair. I could've called to complain or even drive out there to return it but I would hope that next time whoever is making the cakes or even there with long hair to be careful and have more caution since it's gross to find hair in food. Wouldn't like it to happen to anyone so please pull that long hair back or cover it.

Be careful! The Indian lady that is working there snuck a tip on our card. She put a $3.00 tip on our card for a $14.00 order without evening asking us. Note: when we asked her about it, she shook her head and said "well, just don't tip next time". What's interesting is that while we are tippers, we prefer to tip in cash and she snuck $3.00 on our debit card without even asking. ?

Customer service was really great, not onlybtowards myself but I also noticed the interactions with other customers as well.
I just went to buy my 3 yr old a cake for his birthday and for some reason my card didn’t work. 2 different customers tried to pay for the cake that had my son’s name already and it didn’t work as well. The workers called their manager “Jordi” and they tried different things and nothing work. After spending almost 30 minutes. They told me they were not able to give the cake. I had no cash so I was not able to buy the cake using cash, but the manager was very rude for punishing me for a problem it was not my fault ! I bought a smaller one. This has been the worse customer experience I have ever seen before.

Very good portions and all the flavors are fresh and creamy. The service is excellent and the place is very clean. If you want real ice cream, this is the place.
