Mountain Mike’s in Hercules has been my go-to pizza spot since Extreme Pizza moved. I used to frequent Round Table, but this location became my regular because they usually have good deals and the customer service is typically on point. Most times, they’ve been great about providing ranch, plates, and cheese at no extra charge, which I always appreciated.
However, today’s experience was disappointing. When I went in, the gentleman working attempted to charge $1.79 per ranch. I explained that I’ve never been charged for ranch before, especially when I’m already purchasing pizza. It didn’t make sense to me — I’m sure dine-in customers aren’t being charged for ranch, so it feels inconsistent to suddenly charge to-go customers nearly $2 per cup. Especially considering the portion size, which realistically isn’t worth that price.
Unfortunately, this experience has changed where I’ll be spending my money. While Round Table is more expensive, the quality and consistency are there — and they don’t nickel-and-dime customers for basic condiments that should reasonably be included when purchasing pizza.
It’s unfortunate, because this location had earned my loyalty. But customer service matters, and this situation ultimately cost them a returning customer.

This place has no customer service at all! They messed up my order completely wrong! It had meat on it that i couldn’t eat at all due to my lifestyle. They apologized and made me come back to give them the messed up pizza in order to get the pizza that I was originally supposed to get had things go right. Deff not a place I’d recommend to go to if you want good service !
The garlic knots are not even knots here. They literally just rolled them, looked nothing like they were supposed to. Terrible taste as well. The pizza was very disappointing as well. This place needs more training. The El Cerrito location is soooooo much better. Only reason I went here is because its closer to my house, but next time I'll make the drive to El Cerrito.

Last night for my birthday I decided to get a pizza from here and that was a huge mistake. I tried ordering online and it didn't work so had my boyfriend drive to order and pick up. I asked for multiple things on the pizza which they were out of a thing or 2 which is understandable but I asked for extra sauce. When I got the pizza and took a bite it tasted freezer burnt and like a dirty oven, it overall tasted rotten. Not to mention there was NO sauce on it at all. I called up there and she said she would remake it but it would have tobe a smaller size which is insane after spending almost 40$ on a medium pizza. After awhile I was like okay remake it, then there was yet another ingredient they didn't have, so I just asked for a refund. She then began to try to argue and tell me that refunds are too hard to do and asked for the manager. She said there wasn't one there but she was the assistant manager. I told her she needed to give a refund and she asked if I ate the pizza after MULTIPLE times in the conversation I told her I took one bite of one piece and I dug my finger into a couple of other pieces to reveal there was no sauce on them as well. So she finally was like okay I'll do the refund. I get there and she doesn't say a word to me until she asks for the order name and then I ask if it'll go back on our card. Not a sorry or apology for anything. I am incredibly upset not only with the pizza, but the customer service.

26 dollars for a cheese pizza. Waited over 30 minutes to dine in and served it cold...
Sure if it was busy it'd be understandable but it's almost like they purposely let it sit along with the wings we ordered.
Plus individual at register had attitude for whatever reason.
Asked for ranch and mentioned to for us to go up and get it. If she was expecting a tip, it comes at the end for good service.
Everyone is so entitled for doing the bare minimum.

Mountain Mike's 🍕 pizza is always bomb and dope! Great eats!
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I order through the phone with my Debit card, few hours later I had fraudulent charges and had to cancel my card! Do not trust them!!
We ordered mini pizzas, which had the potential to be better if only they added more sausage. It was the only meat we had on the pizzas and 50% of the slices had no sausage on it.

If I could give zero stars i would. Extremely unprofessional. They let customers scream inside. I came in for a doordash and waited 30 minutes while they served the customers who came in behind me just to tell me they didn't even start the small order of one
