Just got some cupcakes today for my moms birthday and they were delicious and the staff was very friendly, the best!

I went there for some cupcakes for my birthday. We got 6 cupcakes, buy 5 get 1 free, and the cupcakes we got where the chocoholics, s'mores, lemon, cookies n cream, red velvet, and I think it's called birthday cake.

My daughter got the birthday cake one, it was basic vanilla frosting with sprinkles and vanilla cake. It tasted great!

My son and husband shared the red velvet and lemon cupcakes. Those were also delicious! My husband and son really liked the lemon one over the red velvet.

I had the chocoholics cupcake and the cake part was sooo good! Moist and full of flavor! I think there was also like a chocolate sauce inside. The icing, on the other hand, had a very strange taste. The best way I can describe it was it tasted like a nail salon smells.

We saved the cookies and cream and the s'mores for the next day. My son and husband shared the cookies and cream cupcake. They said the flavor was great and the cake was delicious.

I decided to eat the s'mores cupcake. I started eating some of the marshmallows off the top and it tasted fine. But as soon as I took my bite with the icing, the same taste came back. The nail salon smells/taste. Again, the cake was so delicious! The icing was terrible.

I don't know what it was about the chocolate icing, but it tasted maybe rancid? I don't know how else to describe it. I really hope I just got a bad batch of chocolate icing and the cupcakes don't normally taste like that.

Just discovered this place and am so glad I did. I ordered the best croissant I have ever had, by far. I didn’t even know croissants could be this good. The outside was light and crisp which was the most pleasant surprise because I have never had a crisp croissant like that before. The inside was light and buttery. One my way out, I bought the 3 remaining croissant in the case. I also had the caramel latte cupcake. It tasted exactly like a caramel latte. The cake part was moist and fluffy and the frosting was delicious. I don’t live in the area but will definitely comeback for the croissants and to try one of the many other cupcakes that were there.

My kids and I loved visiting this cupcake shop. They had a huge selection of cupcakes, and also had croissants, cheesecake, macaroons, brownies… so much good stuff! Everything we tried was beyond delicious. Best cupcakes I’ve ever had! And the staff was friendly and inviting. The store was clean, and the ambience was fun with the pink decor. We will definitely be back!

I ordered Tiramisu. I tasted lemon flavour in the tiramisu. I pretty much tasted at different places of the world but never felt the lemon flavour any where. The dipped ladyfinger wasn't tasting any flavorful. It was more like a cookie. Honestly it was not good at all. And even the cream not flavourful. The atmosphere was great. I loved the friendly staff and very hygienic. I would go there again but the dessert can taste much better for the space they have created.

The moment I walked in their store, I noticed how clean it was and the friendly customer service. To top it off, I had the most delicious cupcake served with a smile. I love it!Come by and enjoy their deserts!Peter

Stopped by because the fam and I wanted some cupcakes. We stopped by and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The cupcakes looked delicious and boy did they not disappoint. They also had drinks there which was nice since we didn't have stop anywhere else to grab one. We will make this our go to stop on our road trips!

Small Cakes in Lathrop is one, if not the best cupcake shops I have visited. Was warmly welcomed and they even had my favorite cupcake the Carmel delight, which I highly recommend. Friendly staff and overall friendly environment 10/10.

I visited the Lathrop location to pick up a treat for me and my girl. It appears there was construction tools on the ground something was going on but it was not blocked off. The presentation turned me off so I rushed to pick two flavors I went with lemon and Oreo. I was surprised to see the cupcakes were not kept cold. Which told me everything must be super sweet buttercream that is shelf stable. I work in a grocery store bakery, and both cupcakes tasted like something I could whip up at work. There was no feeling of uniqueness or anything that stood out that would intise me to come back. I only ate half of each cupcake I felt it was a wasted $10
