Been frequenting this restaurant for about a decade and it's time to write a stellar review. After a long race weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, my crew, fellow racers, and I look forward to spending time here. Mainly for the killer Margaritas (refreshments). Service is always first class and although the small dining room is often packed, we enjoy an ice cold beverage while we wait. THE WAIT IT IS WORTH IT. The cuts of beef in the Chile Colorado and Pork in the Chile Verde are lean and cooked to perfection. Probably one of the best Verde and Colorado dishes on the planet. Perfect amount of seasoning and the right amount of heat! Had the Fajitas and when ordered well done, everything is caramelized, crisped to perfection. Whether you choose shrimp, shrimp and chicken, or strait asada, the fajitas are seasoned and cooked to perfection We've got so much good food here along the Ventura/Santa Barbara coastline but Los Pinos Mexican Restaurant stands out! So much so, that we make the 70 mile drive to Los Pinos Mexican Restaurant at least once a month! Viva Los Pinos!

How this restaurant has 4 stars is beyond me. C'mon people, how low is your bar? I have family in town and we needed a quick bite. I cannot get past how rundown and dirty this place is. I guess if you're the only Mexican restaurant in Lebec, you don't have to make any effort to draw patrons? The food was just ok, as in standard uninventive, uninspired and nothing noteworthy. The homemade horchata was sickeningly sweet and the salsa was watery. Our salsa had a strip of plastic in it that I mistook for a piece of onion. The bathroom was just as gross as the rest of the restaurant. If you have the time to wait for better food, visit the nearby Red Dot Vegetarian Kitchen--it's wonderful!

Had to write a review because last weekend when we were there I had the most delicious chicken fajitas. I've been to a few other restaurants recently and was disappointed so I was very happy when these were so delicious. We love this restaurant and can't wait to go back.

The place is an old stile Mexican mom&pop's restaurante. The lamps decorations are explendid and Jenifer can prepare the best margaritas. The food is absolutely delicious. I will always stop here when in the area.

Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by the hostess and immediately escorted to my seat. The seating area is a bit congested than I would have liked. The host sat me down and took my drink order. He was very attentive during my entire visit. The waitress was very friendly when she came to the table and offered her meal suggestion. I decided to order the cajun shrimp pasta meal. I quickly learned that just because it's on the menu doesn't mean to order it and that sometimes the waitress can have an extremely different experiences with food than I. Because the food was extremely bland. I was confused with the "cajun" title because not only was it not cajun it lacked flavoring in general. The pasta was overcooked and the Alfredo sauce came from the jar not house made. Nonetheless, they did offer a generous portion, but unfortunately it was wasted because it was not a good meal. After my meal, I order butter pecan chocolate as a late night snack.Vegetarian options: They offered dishes without meat.Parking: There was some parking spaces and there was 6 suitable parking spaces for semi trucks.

Incredible food and incredible service. I've been here a few times but I never had the fajitas until today. Wow. Best fajitas I have ever had. Comfy little spot.

Ok. They offer you chips and salsa and then it shows up on the bill for $3. Obviously the trick works since it seemed to be a place for people passing through.

No flavor in the veggie selections and they surprised me with a piece of carnitas in my fajita bowl and the woman took it out with a napkin like I was a child and didn't even follow up with me afterwards and just a spoonful of rice. Don't waste your time. Didn't even offer me a seat.
