Excellent food. We stopped for dinner heading to San Diego and it was so good, we stopped on the way home for breakfast. The owner is an amazing cook. A cross of country cooking with mexican spice. Something for everyone. This will be my stop every time I go to see family.

Stopped here after a morning drive from San Diego. We came in a group of 10 and we're seated in the bar room. I didn't catch the waitress's name but SHE WAS AMAZING her and the other gentleman helping with our table. Staff and service was WONDERFUL. They kept on top of the entire table drinks making sure they never got empty, when we were getting ready to head out I was asked if I would like another soda I declined as we were ready to go and the waitress asked if I'd like one to go ? Ordered the Country Fried Steak and eggs plate that has option for hash browns or biscuits and gravy and toast. I went for the hash browns I thought the biscuits with the steak would be too much, it's plenty of food is my point! Glad we came across this place!

Great Breakfast food! I travel here once a month to meet a good friend for breakfast. ALWAY GREAT! Good chile verde. Wonderful blue berry pancakes. Give it a try. Wonderful people and great service. Easy on and off the 5 fwy.

Always looking to make lemonade from the lemons of routinely trekking up and down the 5 and 99 thru the central valley. Today we found the recently reopened Ranch House. Lovely folks running this place. Breakfast, lunch and dinner ANYTINE. Our crew had a patty melt, chili size and the chorizo skillet. All 3 dishes were nicely prepared. Obvious high quality ingredients. Very caring, warm service. I had the chili size and was impressed. One of the tastiest chili's I've had of recent memory. Heat was right on. Some really interesting and pleasant smoke in the taste was a very welcome surprise. If you get hungry traveling the 5 over the Grapevine do yourself a favor stop at the Ranch House.A real bright spot that both deserves and rewards it's customers.
A very nice little quant restaurant, the staff were amazing and so kind and helpful and attentive. Definitely would recommend anyone making a stop along the grapevine. They are still open during the quarantine so long as you have a mask and proper social distancing so definitely give it a look!
