More than "good for being in the middle of nowhere", just plain really good. Right off the freeway, but still in the weeds, cute little place, delicious food, friendly staff, fun store. Great midway point for our travels. We got a cheeseburger with jalapeno and a chicken sandwich. The meat was cooked perfectly, the toppings were fresh, and even the bread was of a high quality and toasted very nicely. The wait was about ten minutes so we popped in to the little store. Bathrooms were not the best, but at least they had flushing toilets, water and soap (water was really cold, dryer wasn't working and no paper towels). Despite the bathroom situation, I still give it 5 stars.

We stopped here in the off season. The place it's all outdoor seating which would be nice if it was warm. It has a very artisan Bohemian vibe. The food was very good. We got burgers, one was a speciality burger they are known for, but I can't remember the name of it. We really liked it. They play live music. This place was expensive. $16-$20 each burger. It included a coleslaw that was super yummy but no fries or chips or anything.

If you’re on a road trip, might as well take the chance to stop here and experience it. This place is located in the middle of the Redwoods, this will save you from starving when you’re driving along US-101. We stopped here after visiting the Chandelier Tree(Drive-thru tree). There’s also a souvenir shop and a beautiful garden. Having lunch with butterflies, bees and giant sunflowers towering overhead is a wonderful, memorable experience! There’s a little bit wait for the food, but it’s worth it. So, never don’t stop at The Peg House!

They had a great atmosphere to stop in a grab a great bite to eat when you’re on the road. The burgers had great flavor with a very good ciabatta bun. The live music was a nice touch as well as a nice little gift shop. We will definitely stop in on our way through next time.

Must stop when traveling the 101 north. Food was good and the store has a lot of Unique items.
