Love their shakes & cones!! We no longer live in SD so when we visit we always stop in for a shake! I've never had their food but it looks pretty good. It's your usual hamburgers, fries etc. I wish there were more Foster's we could go to, I only see them on road trips! Service is fast & friendly! Can't wait to get a vanilla shake sometime soon!! Yum-0!!

A lil expensive BUT the sizes are larger than any other place for their Twisters/ice cream. The mudpie is definitely the favorite. When I crave something sweet I come here.

Food is always good. The kids behind the counter were to busy talking and playing around to help the counter. So, it's not just my order but the guy in front of me. Took a few extra minutes. To get orders in.

So I'm giving it a 3 star overall....Because the shakes are pretty good and the people have always been decent. The 2 times that I've went to this establishment. I feel like the prices are a little bit much For a medium-sized double cheeseburger and a shake totalling out to be almost $19. I get inflations of things. But I think that this is a bit absurd. And on top of that, my Burgers have been very dry and overcooked. This is an honest review and I honestly think that I am not going to return to another foster's freeze. I just get better quality food at a better price, other places..

Let's start off on a positive note. I LOVE Foster Freeze's soft serve cones. I don't eat them often, but when I do, my taste bud stars twinkle brightly. My wife and I stopped by today for some soft serve. My cone was fine, but the challenge was with my wife's hot fudge sundae. When I ordered it, I couldn't tell by the picture on the menu if it had nuts. The attendant confirmed there was whipped cream, peanuts, and a cherry. So far, so good. My wife doesn't care for whipped cream or cherries, but likes nuts on her hot fudge sundaes. So, I ordered it as such, "no whipped cream or cherry, but lots of nuts" We pulled up to the service window, paid our bill, received our goodies and departed. The soft serve products were good. The problem came when I noticed a 79 cent up charge for the peanuts. Now 79 cents won't make or break me, but I sure wonder why the deletion of whipped cream and cherry wouldn't cover the difference in a few chopped peanuts. In fact, why, in most places is there never a credit for what you don't get, but mostly always an up charge for what you get instead? Is it worth the bad taste it leaves in a customer mouth to make a few more cents of profit? Is it worth losing a customer over such a picayune thing? Yes, I know restaurants are fighting to survive in this price raising economy, but so are their customers. BTW, we took a hit some years ago when most restaurants started substituting cheap peanuts for the more costly (and tasty) walnuts. I do NOT like it when I'm up charged without being told so at the time of asking for something more to help make their sundae, in this case more acceptable. NUTS!

Too bad there wasn't a NON-DAIRY option everything cold looked so good. Maybe I'll order something "made fresh" on the next visit, other than the food the service was really fast good, clear communication at drive through.

So i bought food here yesterday, twice, and You can see it from the counter and window. not one of the employees wear GLOVES to serve food. Ordered 2 burgers and neither time the cook had gloves on and touched every ingredient, with their bare unwashed hands! The words cross contamination don't apply to these people. Be careful when purchasing hot foods here.
